This is a modern designed hotel built within a former shophouse right next to the Malacca River. It exudes style, warmth and comfort with very comfortable rooms and bed. Staff were attentive and friendly. The location was brilliant as it was close enough to the historical district yet not so close that the surroundings got crowded and noisy.

The breakfast selection can be improved. I understand about tailoring the servings to a cost but it could be better. I gave up on the fried noodles and eggs and soggy croissants after the first day to have breakfast at the nearby coffeeshops and cafes instead. The hotel can consider serving congee and more tropical fruit.

The staff were lovely - they presented us tea to die for when we arrived. The location was brilliantly central and the room was spacious. The aesthetics of the lobby overall were nice and clearly a big selling point of the place.

Our bedroom view was a matter of centimetres between the window and another person‘s bedroom. The Aircon was directly onto our face which we don’t believe has been properly cleaned as we woke up coughing and with raspy throats. Generally speaking, there just wasn’t much more to the hotel outside of the rooms and the lobby. It was all very minimal and a little bland.

The hotel is located nearby most of the tourist attractions, and also quiet for the night sleeping. The reception is very helpful and friendly. Hotel room is extremely clean and tidy.

Gorgeous hotel, very central, friendly staff, comfy big beds.

There was a lot of noise when someone in the room next to us was taking a shower. (Even earplugs didn't help) And we had the bad luck they loved showering late at night.

We loved the design of the hotel as it exuded a retro vibe. Our rooms were pretty large and comfortable. The location was definitely great to visit the main attractions.

We were only allowed one card per room despite explicitly asking for one more. It was really inconvenient when one person went out while the another was taking a shower or sleeping.

Nice /clean/Quiet/good location and a cafe right behind the hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was huge! Comfortable bed. The lobby is beautiful! The food at the restaurant was great, highly recommend the Beef Rendeng. Great breakfast. Not a huge selection, but what was there was tasty. Fantastic location!

The bed is high quality, staff is friendly and helpful, love him. (we drove their and the reception got us a public parking right in front of the hotel which is free when he doesn't not need to)

There is no fridge in the room, sound proofing is not that nice but I understand this building is old, just fyi if you mind it. (I don't really mind)

Really confortable bed and pillows, great location by the river. The food of the restaurant was very good (better options elsewhere, but still good to have a good choice in your stay).
