Beautiful waterfront location. Helen and the team were very helpful and welcoming. A highlight was being able to buy fresh seafood directly from local fishermen and have it cooked on-site for a small fee

United KingdomFrom the start Tone the owner was excellent with us and did whatever he could to make our stay truly special. We had a great time here, the views are spectacular see so many turtles at night! Jun Sheng was an excellent dive master and had some incredible dives out there. He was also accompanied by Jepp who was very helpful and really helped my wife feel at ease when snorkelling. We had a great laugh with these two! Food is good but it’s repetitive, they say it’s all inclusive but you don’t really have a choice you just turn up to a few dishes. No snacks provided. Food was flavourful and fruit was fresh but no variety so would say this can definitely be improved. Note soft drinks are not included and this isn’t mentioned anywhere! Communication also needs to be improved. Sometimes miscommunication or no info between staff and management. No communication regarding housekeeping! No communication regarding return transfers management says one thing and then you hear something else from on the ground staff. It all got sorted eventually but these little things can turn this place into an excellent place to stay. Overall a good place to stay with opportunities to see incredible turtles at night right from your room 🤩

BelgiumIt is heavily overpriced. The way to the hotel says enough. It's a wooden path and we were afraid to fall through it with our heavy backpacks. When we arrived in the hotel, it looked like a construction site. We thought we were in the wrong place but kept going and found the reception eventually. The common areas are not nice. Dinner was very basic, breakfast as well. We ate there for 1 night during our stay because it was included but decided to eat somewhere else the second night and pay for our dinner. The room was very humid and bathroom was not clean.
The staff was nice and friendly. You can see turtles at night in front of the hotel.

AustraliaI read the reviews before so expected that there would be karaoke on the decks, from others that like to sing, plus the sound proofing of the room sliding doors helped abit. No biggie. The lodge is going through some maintenance which is good.
The Double with Seaview is properly the best for privacy and separation from the main decks. The people - Tone, Helene, Joy, June and Ping. Amazing good people who made the trip more personal. Thank you, I will always remember you. Lots of turtles around lodge at night. Broken shower water heater was replaced quick smart when issue was encountered. Three meals a day included - Malaysian style home cooking, plus they are open to cook catch from passing fishermen who visit - for a fee. Healthy snorkelling coral sites with lots of fish and turtles.
