Walking distance to good restaurants/ bars and night market. Very helpful staff. All facilities worked well, especially the aircon. Big comfy bed. Very spacious room

The restroom water is very slow. There was a lot of loud noises coming from the nightclub beacause it was facing the night club.

Aircon a bit noisy, especially on dry setting. Blackout curtains let in cracks of light (common occurrence). TV only through internet, hard to navigate. Light remains on screen so had to power off.

1. the toilet flush was faulty. however, the front desk staff did comply & repaired it immediately when we complained. 2. the room was not sound proof enough. can hear people talking and climbing up the stairs at late night 3. main door lock and lift was not available when staff was not at the front desk (even though it was past 10am). we had to carry down the heavy luggage using the steep staircase - quite dangerous 4. quite difficult to find parking as the hotel do not have its own parking space.

Hot shower wasn't very hot, airconditioning started leaking at the last day and stopped working. The rooms do need a little bit of maintenance.

Call number on the door if there is no one at the reception desk. The water pressure is very low especially at night. The location is at main road, so quite noisy. No lift at this hotel, but its okay.

Near to town. Many restaurants with walking distance nearby. Friendly staff and can early check-in. No deposit needed. Big room and clean. Toilet is clean with minimal amenities. Self check-out make it much easier. Took me some time to figure out the TV setting. But afterall everything was great.

Poor noise reduction. You can clearly heard people talking next door. Whole night disturb by people next room and they keep bang the doors. Should set rules on keep quiet after 10pm to avoid customers that is inconsiderate.

Overall alright, except the wall is so thin and the people next room does not sleep. I were awakened by their chatting and even watching horror movie all nights.

Staff is not a local citizen, so you have to contact the manager before you came in order to ease the admission process. Aircond was not cool, but once you align it properly it will be cool. Parking is difficult, but I came in without transport.

The room is clean, the toilet is clean. Water pressure is strong. There's netflix and wifi also fast. There's view on my room. Good for budget.

There were a few medium-sized cockroaches in our room. The rooms are visibly quite old - very stained walls. There is no elevator only stairs so prepare for this if you have heavy luggage. Occasionally the stairs would smell of cigarette smoke too. Check in was fairly simple but we did have to call the WhatsApp number provided at the front for someone to open the lobby door for us though so if you don't have WiFi/data or a Malaysian SIM card bear in mind someone might not be at the front desk to let you in since the door was locked when we arrived.

Location is great. Walking distance to many things including the night market and many food spots. Short grab to Ipoh Parade. There's free weekend street parking after Friday 6pm.

The walls are thin so we could hear other people talking, music, and children crying at all hours of the night. We didn't have the best sleep because of this, but this would depend on how respectful the other guests are that night.

Big spacious room with TV and counter space. There was a water fountain and fridge in the building. They also provided us with a kettle when we asked. It was a comfortable stay.

The WiFi dropped out on our second day, and it still wasn't reset by the time we checked out the next morning, even though we spoke with the owner on the phone that evening and told him the WiFi wasn't working. The staff were not around much, so it was difficult to get any issues addressed.

The location is pretty good, with lots of good eating places nearby. It's about a 25 minute walk to the train station. The room was big and clean enough, and the TV had Netflix etc (which was great when the WiFi was working). We found it pretty good value for money.
