United KingdomThe main thing was there was no proper path from the hotel to the beach. Once you cross the road, you had to go through some unoccupied stalls to get to the beach. This path was next to a little stream which was strewn with litter and stagnant water which was such a shame. I appreciate this is not on hotel property but I feel that it does affect the experience of the hotel guest.
we pretty much liked everything. The rooms were clean, spacious, we loved having connected rooms for our family. Loved the sink for dishes ( shows a great understanding of family rooms). We liked the pool and surrounding trees. The hotel is really close to a lovely beach too. We quite enjoyed the breakfast too

Malaysiait is just that we have issue with the water pressure on the shower head. We have trouble getting a good shower with a very low water pressure. I am guessing there is trouble with the electrical shower’s pump? Please get it checked. That is all.
Very comfortable stay, staff very helpful and friendly. The amenities will be delivered to you if requested (such as kitchen utensils, iron). The breakfast at the resort’s cafe is also good. Coming from local, taste wise is acceptable. They will give you 30 mins time for you to eat.

TaiwanThis hotel has some issues, and we had problems in both rooms we stayed in. The first room’s fridge was rusty inside; the toilet was clogged and “everything” washed up outside, which left a nasty stench. We then got moved to another room that’s toilet bowl seemed to leak, and the floor was almost always wet with either water from the toilet or the shower. The problems were attended to when reported though.
We enjoyed our stay at Anjungan and on this beautiful island. The hotel is located about a 10 – 15-minute drive by taxi from the town. There are many restaurants in the area if you like local street food, and there’s another few ‘Western style’ restaurants on the beach within walking distance. We checked into our first room and only stayed one night before we had a bit of a issue. We were then moved to another room on the opposite side of the pool. The rooms are spacious and cleaned everyday; the beds are comfortable too. The staff is also very helpful when assistance is needed. The breakfast was pretty good; it’s semi buffet style and then you have a choice between three options as the main dish. Overall, we were pretty satisfied with our stay at Anjungan but there are a few things that can be improved on.

United KingdomThe room we had was a little dark and perhaps a little basic but beds were comfy and a/c worked really well.
Great location, just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by monkeys and hornbills which we loved! Other reviews described monkeys as a nuisance but none were actually in the hotel grounds whilst we were there and we had no issues with them. Enjoyed using the pool and the breakfast food was cooked to order and really tasty. Good to try Malay dishes and all were really nice.
