MalaysiaInitially I booked a trendy apartment. After second thought I changed to art villa because of the green setting. It feel like a home and i wanted a relax environment . I had limited conversation with Mr Tan and wife. But they appeared to be very kind and humble person. As I was reaching late. Mr Tan take the effort to made a video specially for me to guide me on self check-in which it included the direction to my room clearly. Not only that he actually show me where to park and got us the nearest parking spot . I was super touched with his kindness .. As u can see the room is spacious and bathroom is big. Heater is hot though we no need hot water as weather is hot up there. The aircond was cold. Room was clean By the way near by got a mall (I think the name is ABC) And his wife also do provide some home cook Thai food. U need to book in advance for her to check the ingredient.

IndonesiaDefinitely felt like entering a villa. Lots of ornaments and art. Owner was friendly and welcoming. Location is decent, close to a big road without the noise of big roads. I brought a bike, the owner let me park it inside the gates, so I was at ease when I slept.

The owners are always available and prepared to help. The place is very quiet with many private places. The common areas are nice to spend some time. Going out of the hotel is not necessary, except when you want to have e.g. full dinner. However, that is possible in the mall across the street.

MalaysiaWe met the worst flood of Kedah in certain areas. But not a big problem. We miss the o nyonya laksa as it was closed without notice. N the pau near the Masjid oooo it was closed also. Not a good idea to go up the Menara on this weather.q
