How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Travelled after a long flight. Had to wait at lobby with no help, no room number allocated. Tried calling multiple times, nobody was answering call. No receptionist to help. Poor service, but security guard Nawa was helpful.

Selected specifically because there was a shuttle offered for the property. No shuttle was available. Property manager said they stopped shuttle service some time back and booking.com hasn’t removed it even though they asked.

It’s not a hotel, I think the description is a little misleading. It’s an apartment building with a pool and gym on the UG floor. So after we checked out we could not get access to the pool or any area to waiting before our flight. There is a security guard 24h a day but it’s not a reception. They just take your details before you can get the key.
Easy to access, they send you a code to get they key from a mailbox and can access late at night Rooms clean

It doesn't have glasses or cups - not a single one. Very little toilet paper.
Near the airport - good for short stays near the airport.

It was quite a secluded area and not much available in the surroundings. The bathroom had a smell and flying insects In the shower area. The Muslim Shower did not have a shower attached only the pipe was left hanging on the floor. The bedsheets were not very clean. And were old and worn out However good for the price
The owner of the property was helpful in msging via WhatsApp about the details to enter the property.

Smelly towels, super late deposit refund, I never consider dry as the sole criteria for clean toilet, the toilet edge is poor, stained with poop material, n greasy, the drainage is the recent design but that design doesn't really trap stench coming from the toilet drainage system..I hope, the cleaners will scrub the toilet properly, not just mopped it dry, the shower water pressure is fair. I hope there is much improvement near future especially on the hygiene parts ..this place is awesome if the that particular part been taken care of
The proximity to the airport, near train station of salam selatan, good restaurants (not by walking) Comfy bed, clear instructions for check in n check out, room smell good, the kitchen, the small bar, fridge, washer machine is there, parking near to lift n well lit..2 functioning fans and 2 air conditions are great for the stay, nice TV..it's is pretty reasonable n generous offer per night for 2 double beds in room along with the facilities

Very poor, alarm went on in the building 2 times and we had to rush downstairs. Finally we left the room at 2.30 am in the morning and sat at lobby.
There were too many restrictions and no one to guide. No toiletries in the bathroom. No cup for tea, no glasses to drink water. No tea bags or sugar

The staff is disappointing. Where do I start : 1. Location in booking is incorrect we had to take two taxis 2. The host contacts you by whatsapp to ask for passport because there are restrictions in booking to ask such sensitive document 3. The host relies on self check in with a procedure that is not up to date. They ask you to get the key from The wrong mailbox. I really do not recommend this host and i will also make sure that booking gets informed.

1. The room has a very strong cigarette odour which is very unbearable. You should open the windows and let fresh air in once in awhile. 2. The hand bidet spray need to be replaced.

Dirty, poor communication with host, difficult to check in, host extremely rude, doesn't have the features described on booking.com, they charged me more than agreed/stipulated on booking for an early checkin and they didn't even provide a receipt. They even took photos of me without asking any permissions. Terrible experience!

The shower is not powerful enough.
Room was clean, everything looks new and well kept. Owner was quick in clearing our doubt during check in. Room was spacious for 4 person. Bed was comfortable.
