Nice and very spacious rooms. Quiet place and friendly staff. Unfair to barely the pool was shut when we were there which we were a b it disappointed about and it would have been good to know this when we booked. restaurant on site was good.

The aircond is very noisy from the 1990s. At first, I didn't get connecting rooms, but after begging, I got those.

The lake is close and big, the water park is cheap, the whole area is big.

Aircond at suite Kampung air need for service.

Staffs very polite and informative, chatter van and buggy very fast response, polite and good manners. Room clean at Kampung air. Refreshment in Kampung air suite pleasant. Room service rate affordable, fast and taste good. Varieties of activities. Hope for night activities and kiosk or vendors selling at nights.

Pro: 1. Room upgrade, got extra single bed during checked in 2. Nice nature view, beautiful lake, got swan and bicycle for rent around. 3. Staff were very helpful. During checked in, our rooms bulb was blinking, air-conditioner not functioning well. They came straight away fix it. 4. A lot of activities can be done inside the themepark with reasonable price. Cons: 1. Price a bit expensive. 2. Breakfast was mid, variety of options but the taste can be improved (a lot). 3. Price didn't include themepark ticket. 4. Iron not being provided, need to iron downstairs behind the reception counter (far and very inconvenient).

The breakfast is DELICIOUS and VARIETY with a lake view..The staffs are so friendly and helpful..

The whole area feels like a giant tourist trap.

Next to the jetty to orangutan island and next to the water park.

The hotel could have been cleaner and the rooms needed updating. Eg. The aircon was either on or off! Also the small swimming pool onsite closed at 6pm. It would have been good to allow the children in the pool for a little bit longer once the sun was not so hot.

Bukit merah lakeside resort was a very simple hotel. The rooms are fairly spacious but need a bit of decoration as they are very shabby. The position is great , near both a fun water park for the children and also the orangutan island where we were able to see orangutans being rehabilitated ready to release back into the wild.

Room condition are worse than 2 stars. Asking me to pay extra for towel. Low budget breakfast.

I can't set the aircond properly because the remote doesn't sync with the aircond since they replaced the original remote with universal remote. I can't set the exact temperature needed for my hot water shower and sink. I had to gauge it manually.

Great varieties of breakfast prepared. The room is very clean. There is hot water for shower and sink.

location: the hotel room and restaurant was to far, not convenient for my old mother. We have to drive a few times for dinner and breakfast.

One of the rooms smelt of smoke, but we were given a different room on request. The whole venue was very quiet and out of season, it could have done with a bit of doing up and some refurbishment.

The room was very reasonable and could have slept 3 people. We booked last minute and there was plenty of availability. The staff were polite and helpful at reception and the breakfast was good value and included in the price. As the property was on a holiday resort area and out of season, it was very quiet. The air conditioning worked well and there was plenty of parking. It was a great location to be able to visit the Orangutan Island and if you wished the water park. It was very easy to reach from the highway. ,

The food are meh to me. Large portion of food but too bland, not crispy enough, not spicy even i ordered spicy wedges. Even my 1 and half year boy can eat it. Not too many choices of food. Luckily the vendors are there. The petting zoo are too quiet with only 1 staff at the goat shed, understandable the price only rm10.

Except the food, everything was exceptional to me. The room size are enough for both of us n 2 babies. No harzards for kids. The staffs are very friendly, the service are on point, not too much but just enough to know that we are welcomed. Definitely will come again and worth the money.
