How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The gym and the pool is a bit small.
All the staff were super friendly. The room was big and very comfortable. They provided free coffee, tea and biscuits at the lobby which was a thoughtful idea. The breakfast was wonderful too. There was a selection of local and also continental choices.

Very small room for 2 adults, definitely in the bathroom. Pool under maintenance. Very small and smelly gym. Very limited parking spots
Nice style. Fully equipped room including AC, fridge, safe, iron, … Comfortable beds. Free coffee and drinks in the lounge. Free water station. Breakfast space

Maybe the breakfast could have a bit more selection. At the end of the breakfast many things were already gone.

One of the aspects of the decision made when we have booked the room was the size (30 sqm) of the offered accommodation. The room was not that big. (Probably a bit more than 20 sqm)

Hotel was spread over several old buildings creating some odd layouts and a walk between buildings for reception and breakfast. Area was run down in parts and places of interest required a taxi ride.
A modern hotel internally with clean comfortable room and good beds and linen.

Facilities in toilet need some repair and maintenance. This the 2nd time to stay in this hotel and still encounter some issue with shower pipe & holders etc.
The 2x Nepalese at the front door are always smiling and take the initiative to told you to wait indoor as weather was hot, get the pick-up vehicle no. in order to alert us when car arrive. Another occasion was rainfall suddenly and he quickly standby umbrellas for us. Unfortunately we forget to get hold of their names.

Citadines Noordin is an absolutely central location. A stone's throw away from the the malls, the hipster Hin Depot and other "touristy" spots, it is also located in a quiet neighbourhood. Lots of meal options around (Grab food is always a call away). The quiet neighbourhood means peaceful rest away from the traffic noise. The room is spacious. A filtered water cooler along the corridor makes it easy to top up our water needs. Staff were absolutely friendly, making the even more pleasant. Cost wise - this was definitely value for money.

the parking a limited and they charge you a daily rate which is quiet reasonable in downtown area. my room was facing other people's house which a bit awkward.
the breakfast was awesome with variety of choices. the location is walkable to many interesting places. the bed and pillow was so comfortable that i spend most time sleeping in my room. the staff were all polite and friendly and greets me whenever we met. the tv have a decent channels to choose from.

The bathroom cleanliness can be improved. There's mould and dust all around so the toilet has clearly not been deep cleansed. Not a deal breaker but just wished it was better maintained. Depending on where your room face, you can hear the road. Not an issue if you are a deep sleeper but the room is not really soundproofed. There was a thunderstorm on first night and the rain sounded really loud in room against the roof. You can also hear people talking in the corridor or even next room if your room is a connecting room.
Great location! Just opposite Hin Market which shopaholics will enjoy over the weekend. It's in close proximity/short grab ride to great food areas. Bed and pillows were comfy. Two bedroom is a good size if you are traveling with toddler kids. The baby cot was so comfy that my baby slept thru the night. Staff are really friendly and helpful!
