Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MalaysiaThere are two lobbies and I had to walk around the whole area looking for the correct lobby. Not to mentioned the lobby is facing the Nordin Street not on the main street (Gurdwara Road). Dont rely on google map for that. Also Nordin street is a one way street and to get there you have to go through McNair st which is notorious for traffic congestion. If you need to get a Grab/InDrive, better to pick up/drop off at Sup Hamid across the road to avoid being stuck for at least 15 min to go through 50m on McNair.
The location: A stone throw away from Komtar, tucked on the least busy road in downtown (Nordin Street) Georgetown. Gama departmental store is just across the road, so does the Hin Bus Depo (hipster cafe). The lobby has a chic deco with snack stations with free coffee (and snacks). Check in was good (I opted for an early check-in, thus the room was ready when I was there at 2pm). Love the smell when you entered the room area (a passage to go to the room/elevator), reminded me of Citadines in Europe. Room is spacious and most importantly; double-pane windows. Bed is comfortable, tv is huge with good receptions Internet is okay (better if you are an ascott members). There are not water bottles, but there are water station and each room was provided with a pitcher for you to get the filtered water there. Hot water is almost instantaneous with good water pressure. I dint opt for the breakfast however there's plenty of restaurants/cafes around. The gym is well equipped and there also a good size swimming pool on the rooftop.

SingaporeCleanliness can be improved, we found a strand of hair on the dressing table when we just checked in. The room sleeps 4 but the living area was not comfortable for 4 of us. The sofa was tiny and could barely sit 2 of us comfortably. Would've been great if we had a smart TV to watch YouTube/Netflix on, that would've helped us make better use of the living area. There was some construction coming from the connected buildings (not the hotel) and it was quite bothersome in the mornings. Bathroom was really dim.
The rooms were spacious with designated areas for luggage. Pillows and comforter was really comfortable. The water pressure of the shower was good. Instead of plastic bottles, there is a water dispenser outside the room (save the earth!) The hotel was also located near a few street food areas that you can walk to (if you want to brave the Penang heat). We commuted via Grab most of the time and the hotel served as a good base. We appreciated that it was walking distance to a few speakeasy bars and cafes.

United KingdomBreakfast - limited options at buffet only toast or cereal. No set breakfast options - no vegetarian or vegan substitutes possible. Any option we ordered we had to leave more than half of it because it contained meat and or eggs
Rooms and beds really comfortable. Amazing shower. Liked free filtered water. Swimming pool and gym really good. Good central location

AustraliaIt was all good. Mostly great. If I had to pick something I’d say the breakfast could be better. It wasn’t bad but wasn’t good either so it didn’t match the excellence of everything else.
Really like this stay. The room was comfortable, roof-top pool. Happy, helpful staff…..The water stations were a real bonus.

United Arab EmiratesAt check-in I was offered a cup of coffee but the cup came with lipstick stain, once I showed it to staff she was very apologetic and removed it immediately, replaced with a fresh cup. I also found 1 breakfast fork dirty. The breakfast was simple and set, the same 4 options everyday which became boring. Couple towels had stains and chiller wasn't cooling on day 1. I must say, the staff were very responsive, by the time I reported the towels and fridge they were replaced in less than 5mins.
Hotel was very flexible with my booking, I arrived a day late because of flight cancellation, the communication was great and they kept my room...I was so grateful. Location was ideal, tucked away from the main streets hustle/bustle, but still accessible to them. I walked from there to everywhere and back. Lots of food places nearby like every few steps, grocery, pharmacy, and hair salon. The room was small (caught me off guard at first, but I got used it) and it was sufficient for one person. It was pristine - well cleaned and arranged. Had all the amenities (except iron/board which are on request) and toiletries that you need. The shampoo and conditioner are 2in1 and not ideal for everyone. There is no drinking water in the room but there's a water machine along the corridor on each floor and water jug in the room. Round the clock complimentary coffee at reception. The staff were amazing, especially Dhur (hope I got her name right - lovely Indian lady) she greeted me by name everyday, gave me info for an affordable city tour, checked for other attractions and timings/cost, and suggested best time to go. At check-in I was assisted to carry my bags to Block B, and someone at the lobby doors to open and assist as needed. Fantastic team. This hotel is absolute value for money, I highly recommend it and would definitely stay again.

Singapore1. The access door into the rooms was very heavy, and we always had difficulty opening it (and only once someone came to help hold the door). 2. The door to our room had no door stopper, pushing through the door with the luggage was a challenge. 3. The mini fridge was not working. There's light but it's not cold at all. 4. The AC wasn't auto turned on after the room card was inserted into the card holder. I also saw on the AC screen the filter needs to be cleaned. :)
I like that the hotel was small and felt very exclusive. The lobby and dining hall were very cosy and we love the aroma of the coffee that constantly filled the air! The room for my mum and I were of a good size we have ample space to move around comfortably, though I didn't like to walk all the way deeep into the corridor to our room which faced a small road of a residential area. I also didn't like to go all the way to the end of the corridor to take the drinking water from the filter tap. Front desk staff were very friendly and even went out of the way to ensure my online purchase (that arrived a day late) was safely received by them. I managed to collect it after my check out, making a trip back to the hotel before heading to the airport. So appreciative, thank you so much!

GermanyThe hotel is divided into 2 buildings which are not exactly right next to each other. Each building has its own pool and rooms are similar. We were 4 people and had 1 room in each building which was not great. Also we found a cockroach in our bathroom one night, which I guess came out from the drain next to the toilet. This is not great but not a big deal. Finally, we don’t sleep with the AC on, but the AC will turn itself on in the middle of the night to provide some ventilation but being quite noisy. This was a hit unpleasant and the staff could not do anything to stop it. Thankfully it only lasted for 15-20 minutes.
The hotel is very modern, comfortable and well-equipped. Staff was helpful and attentive. The pool was great.

SingaporeNothing major but because the room we got was rather new, it we didn’t know that the bidet holder was the tap enables it to work.
Located close to great bars (Good Friends, No Bar Here and Backdoor Bodega), which are all 3mins walk away. Rooms were all newly renovated and clean. Pillows were really affordable and the staff were helpful. Would come back and stay here again.
