While the hotel has strong merits such as location and staff friendliness, the A/C issues significantly detracted from my overall experience. The inability to regulate temperature, compounded by noise, made the stay uncomfortable. Rooms remained too hot despite maintenance visit.

The property needs a proper deep cleaning. Or a refurbishment. It wasn’t filthy but I saw dust and tiny bits of dirt in places. The bathroom bidet leaks. The TV reception was poor.

The room had a smoking smell despite it being non smoking. The property could use a bit more upkeep (the pictures dont totally reflect the state of the place). The pool though nice had a layer of algae on the bottom and sides of the tiles. The staff were always very nice but not always properly informed (for example, we asked if there was a bus to go to the Semenggoh Nature Reserve and the front desk lady said there wasn’t when in fact there is a free bus that literally stops at the mall both there and back that takes you directly there.) We also think we paid too much for their shuttle to the airport. But for price it was very good.

Very spacious apartment, super comfortable bed and pillows, good towels, amazing pool and view. Really good breakfast that changed everyday and that catered to all tastes. Loved being across from the mall, lots of food options near by and very convenient to get to the main downtown and getting out of town. Always easy to get a Grab to go where we wanted. It was mostly always quiet despite lots of families staying. The filtered water machines in the hallways were a huge plus. They were able to give us a number for a private driver to go visit the caves.

The first room we were in was facing the noisy highway and also directly opposite is the mosque so basically everyone was awake with the 5am prayer calling. After asking and also because there was a broken window we were moved to a poolside bedroom which was much better. Also for tourism I wouldn’t recommend the location, it’s a bit shabby, not much is open in the morning for breakfast and grab drivers tend to take a long time to reach (traffic area) so you lose a lot of time going places and we would have liked to be more central. But I guess the price is more affordable than central hotels

The 2 bedroom apartment was convenient and worked out well with kids. It was also nice to be able to chill at the pool after excursions. The beds were comfortable

Air cond is very hard to control, default on auto mode. 2nd night, the living room and single bed room aircond not function, switched on but auto off again. Informed counter staff for assistance although it was midnight . The refrigerator is noisy..

Overall, our stay was pleasant, but there are a few areas for improvement. It would be great if they could offer more TV channels, especially cartoon options for the kids. The pool area has potential, but certain sections of the jacuzzi could use a water jet spray, and the greenery needs trimming for a cleaner look. Entering the pool area directly from the lift facing the main dining room felt a bit awkward—perhaps installing a large curtain would offer more privacy for both swimmers and diners. Lastly, having a chair at the main entrance would be a thoughtful addition, making it more convenient while waiting for GrabCar or GrabFood.

The space was perfectly suited for a family of four, offering both comfort and practicality. We appreciated the convenience of having a microwave for heating food and a clean, well-equipped kitchen with spotless utensils. The master bedroom having its own TV in addition to the one in the living room was a delightful surprise—our kids absolutely loved it! The entire place was fresh and free from any unpleasant odors. It was a comfortable and family-friendly stay that we thoroughly enjoyed.
