The smell from the bathroom was quite strong at night. The TV channels were not working but the internet connection was superb, so we were able to get some entertainment via online.

The check in was a breeze and the receptionist on duty was very friendly and informative.

The length of the capsules is a tad short, if you're on the tall side. I'm about 180cm and slept diagonally and still had my feet brushing up against the wall. Workable for me, but if you're much taller it might be cramped. Also a bit far from the old town; about a 12 MYR grab ride each way; apparently you can catch a bus, but they're only hourly and google maps was telling me it would take twice as long even if I go there just as the bus was leaving.

Good, clean capsule style dorm. Staff are friendly and attentive. bathroom facilities are pretty spacious for Malaysia and clean. Lots of food options around, there's a quick and easy food court in the mall nearby as well as lot of streets food. Very close to bus terminal if your coming/going by bus.

The aircon was turned up so high the first night....i was wearing three layers and my jacket and still shivering. I asked for a blanket, but they didn't have any....def think blankets should be available if the aircon is that high... staff were able to reduce the coldness the next two nights thankfully.

Enjoyed my stay so much I extended for another night, I would have stayed longer but I had already bought my bus ticket back to KL. I asked for directions to a takeaway food stall at the night market, but instead of just showing me on the map, they took me there in there own car, thank you very much for that.

One point off for location if like me you don't have your own transport, but as I said the bus station is honestly no more than a 5 minutes walk, and the grab taxi's I took a couple times were really cheap.

The staff were all really nice and helpful, they gave me lots of information as soon as I arrived about what to see and how to get around with public transportation. It's only a 5 minute walk from the main interstate bus station and from there a regular local bus takes you to the old town area for only RM1.70. nice covered sitting area at the front of the building and free tea/coffee/juice in the morning Dorm beds felt really private with the pull down curtain, toilets/showers were really clean.

It would have been nice to have a small fridge in my room—a fairly standard amenity in hotels. The bedding isn't the most comfortable: pillows are hard and blankets thin and fuzzy.

The staff at Cute Hotel are friendly, helpful, and easy to deal with. The place is kept clean, and the amenities are decent. While it's somewhat out of the centre, there's no shortage of food and grocery options around, so it doesn't feel isolated.
