Shower could do with a bit of modernising, but they still functioned perfectly well. Towel can be hired for 5 Ringgit.

Friendly staff, very helpful for someone spending a night or two in Ipoh. It’s very quiet and felt safe.

Hadn’t allowed card payment in full on booking site so wanted cash on arrival. Explained I was saving my cash and took a while to get the card option activated on booking site. Only one toilet at dorm level but didn’t ever have to wait. Two showers only. Infrastructure needs maintenance. Walls need painting. No cooking facilities. No kitchen but a small coffee water filter nook as a compromise. But overall, nothing serious.

Comfortable mattress and pillow. Quiet dorm. Small hostel, nice to meet interesting travellers. Central location, a few minutes walk to Ipoh train station. Friendly owner.

- AC made a lot of noise - cafe was closed the entire time I was there - no organised activities by hostel, only a whatsapp chat with other travellers. - not very social hostel

Bathrooms weren’t great as 1 of the 2 showers didn’t have a lock so made it unusable. Cafe wasn’t open when I was there which was disappointing as I would’ve loved to try the food.

One of the nicest hostels I’ve ever stayed at! Super comfy beds, bathrooms were clean and spacious, huge lockers outside the rooms (no late night rummaging bags!) and lots of free amenities. There were only a 4 people staying in the mixed dorm so it was quiet but I can imagine it would get noisy with a full dorm (the floors creak). Walking distance to lots of food places, the train station and the old town.

Please provide special space for Muslim to do prayer especially in your dorm. Iron board also need to be provided in mixed dormitory so the guest don't need to ask staff to help bring down the iron from female domitory to mixed domitory.

Everything was good in this mixed gender dorm. The comforter was so good and comfy. Even this dorm is mixed gender but the privacy is good. There are only 2 bathroom and 2 toilet so if you don't want to que, you can wake up early to take shower especially in morning. The service also good when i asking where is the prayer matt and iron board. This hostel also only 10 minutes walk from train station and 5 minutes walk to state mosque. Wifi speed also very fast at around 80mbps. The room also smell nice and comfort. But you can hear footsteps if every person walk in your room.

The bathroom is quite small and there is almost no space where you can change your cloth. The locker keys are working for more than one locker.

The beds are comfy and the common area is nice. The Cafe is a plus. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is great. I would stay here again.

The shower room lacks enough hooks for hanging your belongings, providing only a small basket that isn’t sufficient for clothes and toiletries. I recommend bringing your own S-hook and a shower bag for convenience.

The hostel's location was excellent, just a short distance from Market Ln. The beds in the female dorm were private and comfortable, with no upper bunk, ensuring you won’t be disturbed by another traveler above you.

This has nothing to do with the hostel but it might help other female solo travelers so please keep the review. I got approached in front of the hostel by a man in the car insisting he was my Grab driver. I didn’t order any ride and he kept insisting and eventually he asked if I was interested in sexual services. hopefully I left and it was day time, if it was night, by my self I don’t know what would have happened.

The staff was responsive to handle my late check ini and gave proper instruction regarding Self check in. Seems they prefer to communicate via WhatsApp rather than chat at the platform. Stay, location, room and bed met my comfort level. I love it wasn't bunk bed but 1 single bed per guest✨️
