Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have stayed here several times on route from KL to Penang, it is perfect for us. The hotel facilities are basic but that is what we want. There are food courts near by, the rooms are excellent and the staff are friendly. Car parking is available. We will be back!

AustraliaRoom is small. Deluxe room - more like a smaller standard room.. barely got space to walk. The word “Deluxe “ is wrongly applied. I asked for a bigger room. Paid Rm60 extra … given a room called Grand Deluxe room. The room size is equivalent and in fact smaller than a normal standard room of other hotels. There is no cupboard in the GRAND DELUXE ROOM ( R 306) to hang my clothes. It is more like a smaller adjoining room to another room ( there is an internal latched door to another room). I am doubtful why such a room in R306 is considered the highest grade room of the hotel and called GRAND DELUXE when it is an adjoining room to another room !!! The word Deluxe in the advertisement is misleading. I have spent 35 years travelling around the world for work and is familiar what is the expectation of a Deluxe room and a Standard room. Because of the size of the rooms, De Hotel is essentially a small boutique hotel, and should advertise as such. Expectations of Boutique Hotel would have much smaller rooms than the “normally” advertised hotels. There is a feeling being misled by the use of “ Deluxe” when I first booked online and by “Grand Deluxe” when I paid extra for the socalled Grand Deluxe. It is a misleading representation and gives false expectations when booking online. BTW, D Eastern Hotel standard room is so much bigger than De Hotel’s advertised “ Deluxe” room and even bigger than De Hotel’s Grand Deluxe room.
