Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Kingdom1. The water filter in the room did not provide cold water ad there were no bottles to put it into then put in fridge to cool it. 2. Having to go to Level 40 to make your own (decent) coffee
Excellent breakfast. Comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff. Little shop next door.

PakistanWe were a single family (10 people across 5 rooms) and had our rooms distributed across 4 different floors. We found this very difficult to navigate as we were travelling with a baby and our grandmother in a wheelchair even though we had informed details about our party in advance. One room had a bidet that was non functional
Good rooms and location.

CanadaThe facilities showed some signs of wear, with visible marks on the kitchen counter, and unfortunately, the hairdryer was not working properly during my stay.
Perfect location—conveniently nestled between the MRT and LRT lines, making it incredibly easy to get around. The room offered a lovely view of the city skyline, including the iconic Twin Towers, though partially obscured by the Four Seasons building. Highly appreciated the mini pantry, which was thoughtfully equipped with all the necessary utensils for light meals. The surrounding area was pleasantly quiet, providing a peaceful atmosphere that made the stay even more enjoyable. The staff was super helpful and the room was very spacious as well!

United KingdomIt’s pricey, but you are slap bang in the center of KL. It’s a short taxi ride to the more touristy areas like China Town, but Grabs are cheap to get you around.
The hotel is very smart. It’s in an upmarket area within walking distance of the Petronas Towers and Suria Mall. The rooms are immaculate and very comfortable. Ask for a city view and you will get a stunning view of the city. The small indoor pool also has a great view and there’s a small, but relatively well equipped gym to use. It is a bit expensive and perhaps more suited to business travellers than tourists like us, but we had a fabulous time at the Element. The breakfast was delicious and so varied too.

NicaraguaThe shower's temperature fluctuates constantly, so be very careful when using hot water. It can suddenly become scalding and cause burns.

ThailandThe hotel was excellent in all categories. The location in city center was enhanced by the great views. All the guest rooms are on high floors above the lobby on the 40th floor. The staff was friendly, professional and quick to respond to all needs. When my laptop wouldn't connect to the hotel's wireless, a member of the IT staff arrived within minutes to work on my computer in person and fix the problem.

Beautiful modern hotel, good location, only 10 minutes walk to Suria shoping centre and Petronas Twins. Amazing view from the room windows. Cleaning team cleaned room every day, good quality towels and bed linen. Also, a big size swimming pool with nice and calm atmosphere. I'm definitely coming back soon.

MalaysiaDisabled rooms can be requested when booking, but it is never confirmed. They will always say its subject to availability during check in. I would prefer it if they can confirm it is available when booking.
We specifically needed a room with disability support (grab bar in bathroom, walk in showers) and wheel chair accessible rooms. And the studio room had it. Depending if the disabled person require the bidet to be on the left or the right side, would depend on the room layout. The room we got had the bidet on the left, which was just perfect, bcoz my family member disability was his right hand. You might need to request to change room with an opposite layout should you need the bidet to be on the other side of the toilet. Bathroom had ample space to wheel in wheelchair. Bathroom door was wide enough for wheelchair to go through. The only comment is that the small bump on the floor at bathroom doorway, was a little inconvenient. We would have preferred if it was ramped instead. The bathroom tiles can be slippery when wet. For a normal person this may not be much of an issue, but it should be looked into if it was to be suitable for handicap /those with disability (eg. using cane). Overall we would definitely stay here again for the disabled friendly facilities.

AustraliaMaybe a mirror in the living area would be great to have. And pity it didn't have a spa (jaccuzi)to use. One negative comment is the pans that they make eggs in, are burnt as they sit empty on fire and you will find some burnt pieces in your egg when you order sometimes.
Spacious room, nice view from our room. Clean hotel/room. Breakfast had enough variety and was good. Staff were friendly 10 mins walk to twin towers roughly. Room had 2 double bed and it was only 2 of us , so plenty of space for us to roll around😁
