We found it to be a nice hotel, with a large, comfortable bed, a large bathroom, and good cleanliness. It's close to everything important, and the staff is very friendly.

There were four small interior windows in my room that were positioned above the reception desk/light well. Unfortunately there were no blinds which meant the room was quite light during the night.

Dead space in the room which could have been used to place bench for luggage. Insufficient hooks to hang clothes in the room, local TV channels minimal. Sink was not very clean.

The staff was wonderful. Polite and attentive. TV had YouTube. Location was great.

Air con in my room not cold enough even though we put it to the lowest. Didn't inform the staff since we are just staying for a night

The location is superb. You can access lots of Malacca historical sites on foot.

I don’t recommend Room 201 - the only room that has a window onto the road. Even with windows closed, the noise from the rickshaws playing loud music until midnight came in, making it difficult to sleep.

Central location, big nicely designed room, strong hot shower (but don’t forget to turn on hot water switch 5 mins before), and very friendly staff.

I chose a room that faced out onto the road behind which had a lovely balcony with furniture and views of the river. Lovely quaint hotel in a shophouse. Great location close to Red Square, Jonkers St and the river. Staff were lovely and friendly and helpful

Not much just a small leakage in the bathroom in between the toilet & shower; reported to the staff.

Not much at all. It's in the centre of a wonderful old town so there's a little bit of noise at night.

A lovely find in the centre of the Asian quarter (old town) reminiscent in places to a Moroccan Riad. Very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable bed and pillows. Restaurants and bars on the doorstep. Our room had a lovely balcony overlooking the river. Staff very helpful and we had a parking space for our car.

Wifi connection in the room was bad, even 4G connectivity was also not great. We got the room of the ground floor, easy to come and go out but has noise from staff's work, water flushing etc. Late check-out fee was quite expensive - RM 50/hour, can be cheaper when they have enough rooms.

Very convenient location, just next to the river and the entrance of the Jonker street. Room was clean, staff was very kind. Beautiful Peranakan style hotel.

Given its location it is quite noisy at night. We expected this though so it didn’t overly concern us.

This hotel has been beautifully renovated. We stayed in the room at the front with the balcony. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony looking at the lights over the river at night. The location is great and very convenient. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location, friendly staff, good value for money. The sheets and towels were a bit old, and could do with updating.

The room is on the smaller side. The bathroom door is only half length which can be inconvenient. There is slight smell coming from the drain. And remember to turn on the switch for water heater for hot water!

Great location right beside Jonker Street. Staff is friendly and helpful. Heritage architecture is kept and there are lightwells that allowed windows for some rooms. Overall a conformable stay.
