How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room was nice and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a long day. The bed was incredibly cozy, ensuring a good night's sleep. I love the bathroom as well. The food was another highlight. There was a fantastic variety of options available and everything I tried was delicious. Whether it was breakfast or lunch, the culinary offerings truly impressed me. Additionally, I appreciated the free parking..which made it easy to come and go without worrying about extra costs or finding a spot nearby. The location of the hotel was excellent. It was conveniently situated near popular attractions, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful stay. The combination of comfortable accommodations, great food, free parking and a prime location makes it a top choice!

Does not reflect the value for money. Paying extra for room upgrade with breakfast included but was very disappointed. Found 2 cockroaches in toilet, urine stain on toilet bowl cover, birds feather are all across the room, need to call for house keeping right after checked in. Stained bed sheet and pillow sheet which does not really portray a good hygiene level. Very disappointed with the breakfast as not much options were there compared to previous years that we came during Avillion time. The staffs are not well attentive to clean the table after the guest left the table and i have to call the staff to clean a table since we didnt find any empty table. Breakfast was not immediately refilled once emptied on shelves. Poor choices of menu to display during breakfast buffet. Definitely can improve better.

Verified reviewThe lobby interior is beautiful, the location is strategic, the pool area is nice, breakfast is great (who would say no to nasi lemak sambal paru - free flow), the parking rate is considerably cheap (Rm 3 per day) and the elevator to rooms level is fast.
1. The airconditioner is too slow to cool down the room temp. I check in around 2:45 pm and left the room at 5 pm before return back at 10:30 pm. For the eight hours after the air cond switched on, the room’s temp reduce from 28-26.5 degree C. Need to call maintenance to solve the issue. 2. When I swim in the pool, I found 2 pieces of tiles at the bottom of the pool. One in perfect square size and the other is broken tile. 3. No lock and clothes hanger in changing room near the swimming pool.
