Hi Afnan, Thanks for taking the time to write us a review of your stay. We are very glad to read of your enjoyment and satisfaction, and to see that you found so much of the hotel's facilities and services to exceed your expectation. In regards to the pool, the sandy area around the swimming pool has been in place since the hotel opened in 2009. The idea behind this concept is to create a beach-like experience for our guests, as the seaside area in Penang is not so swimming friendly due to the jellyfish situation. I am sorry that you found this to be unpleasant, but please be aware that there is a whole section of poolside in the south wing of the hotel (other side of Pizzeria) that has lawn instead of sand. Hi Kum Thung, Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding parking. I’m sorry to hear that your experience did not fully meet your expectations. While the hotel provides a spacious on-site car park, it can occasionally reach full capacity during peak periods. To support our guests, we have an overflow parking area about 500 metres from the hotel, with a complimentary shuttle service for added convenience. Valet parking is also available and for guests who prefer added ease, a parking space near the hotel entrance can be reserved in advance for a nominal fee. Please be assured that we prioritise parking for our in-house guests. Our Security team verifies each visitor’s purpose upon arrival to ensure this process is managed as smoothly as possible. Your feedback is valuable and we’ll continue to look at ways to further improve the parking experience, particularly during rainy weather.
