15-20min walk to the city center although 2min walk to night market.

The price, it was very good value for the budget. The dorm was good with well functioning AC. There are multiple toilet and bathrooms. No need to wait to go to toilets or to take a shower. The staff os not there but is reactif on whatsapp.

It's basic but it's nice enough for the very good price. It's kept clean and it's just across the road from a couple of great kopitiams with local food.

No privacy. Only one power socket . No light at the bunk bed. No curtain to cover the bunk bed for privacy. No soup solution for bathing . Towel provided like rag !!!!

The room was very loud, which could stop people from getting to sleep. The linen itself on the bed did not seem particularly clean, nothing major but a bit grubby. Hard to comment on the staff as we did not come across any staff apart from when we needed to pay.

Great central location. There are plenty of showers for all rooms. Check in was easy through a code provided.

There was a lot of long term lodgers in the dorms who are there for work/college and it feels like you are almost imposing on their space. The communal area doesn’t have much comfy seats.

It was less personal. You don't meet the host but if you don't mind that it shouldn't be a problem. We stayed for one night in the private room and it was perfect for us.

The room was ok, but the hostel was small and lacked any space to relax outside your room so it all felt a bit claustrophobic. Some of the other guests sharing the facilities seemed to be more long term and it felt a bit like we were encroaching on their home. A bit uncomfortable, particularly for my wife as they were all male.

No towel and body shampoo. Shower water pressure is quite slow. Only one bathroom has a hot shower.

Clean and hygiene. Rest area and Air conditioning is nice. Locker is provided. Access door is safety. Staff was friendly. Closest to all amenities ( train and bus station, restaurant, mosque, night market etc).

the biggest issue is the fact that the building and its rooms are all located to a main road and a connecting lane . there are no double wall windows and traffic noise will penetrate with very little damping , the worst thing about ipoh seems to be a wanna be racing scene that uses this main road for engine and exhaust modified posing . this can go as late as 4 in the morning on weekends . i do not know what the police in malaysia does but certainly not work for the people and theier wellbeeing. earplugs are the solution to all this and granted me unspoiled sleep at any time . the common area needs a touchup in the sense of seating options.

suki is doing an excelent job there , she is responsive helpful and tries to give her best knowledge about anything you ask. the property gets cleaned every day once and gets a deep clean every weekend . people complained about black hair in the shower seem to misunderstand that a shared bathroom is frequented all the time so any dark haired person taking a shower at 6 or 7 will most likely leave a black hair . location wise you are pretty much in the center of the city with everything of human need in walking distance.

Hostel is close to town center, train station, and F100 bus route. Good food options, concubine lane, and central markets. Spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. Water dispenser h/c and basic kitchen items. Nice common area to relax.Good air con and wifi.
