SingaporeThe sofa bed was very unstable; it cantilevers and throws you off if you rolled over to the unfolded side. It was also very dusty. There were no sheets provided for the sofa bed. The spare pillow and towels all had many yellow stains. The soap and shampoo dispensers were empty and the shower cubicle was utilitarian. The wind constantly knocks at the flimsy door and we had to keep a chair against it to keep the noise down.
The location was close to the hubbub in Mount Austin, but since it wasn't walkable it was quite quiet. The view was good since it is on the 15th floor. You could refill water from a good water filter and there were sufficient electrical sockets.

Singapore1) Bad location - no eateries within walking distance. The design of the road (only 1 direction from a slip road), makes walking to nearby shops almost impossible. 2) Expensive and no value for money. For the equivalent price, I could have stayed in a 3 to 4 star hotel comfortably. 3) Condo is old and in a state of disrepair. Poor maintenance. 4) Supplied a washing machine in the bathroom but it cannot be used as no water inlet and no power point. So can see cannot use. For show only. 5) The power extension cord has 2 outlets with exposed wiring, an electrical hazard. 6) The TV and media box - no programmes available, no live TV, no videos or movies, it is always buffering but no images or says "no signal". Informed management, nothing done except to ask me to reset the wifi (useless method). The battery for remote control has leaked acid. Hence not possible to use remote unless battery changed. 7) Nothing supplied, eg no mineral water etc. Only provided with toilet rolls and bath soap and kitchen dish soap. 8) Only one dining chair provided. How can 2 persons sit? 9) Only one small bowl provided. 10) The box for keys cannot be opened. I had to return keys to the letter box instead. 11) Very poor customer service from management agent. 12) The pillow has ugly stains and mouldy. 13) Bathroom has no hooks or racks for towels or clothings. Overall, a worst experience I ever received at Booking.com

United KingdomThe walkways right after entering the premises would require some repairs. Also, the key tag to enter the premises was missing and the key pad to enter the room was asking for a battery replacement.
If there is anything that the room has in abundance, then it's daylight! Nothing beats a whole front window from top to bottom. The check-in and check-out instructions received prior to my arrival were very easy to follow and accurate. Gate security take their job seriously and the facilities are overall in good shape. The WiFi in the room is great. The location is strategically good, right in between Austin Heights, AEON Tebrau and Johor Jaya. It's easy to get to each of those locations within 5-10 by Grab. These are the places were life is happening in that area. The immediate vicinity is a bit bland, but that's ok.
