Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Quirky and trendy. We stayed in one of the themes rooms which was an amazing size with great bathroom facilities which spilled out into the bedroom. All the perks of a quality global chain hotel but much quirkier. Made a middle-aged married couple feel very cool!!

GreeceKloe hotel exceeded our expectations! The hotel staff were super kind and helpful and gave us solutions to any request we had. The room design was fantastic and the industrial reception also fantastic! The breakfast was memorable since it was not the same menu of a brunch place but a rather carefully chosen menu with new flavours and combinations. I had a brioche with scrambled eggs and beef streak i will never forget! coffee was also of excellent quality! The location was so close to Pavilion mall and this made our 2 days stay there super easy with no need for transportation.

United KingdomClean and modern hotel in the centre of KL. Staff were so friendly and helpful and service was great throughout our stay. The room was spacious and had everything you could need with some great complimentary foods and drinks too! Bed and pillows were comfortable and the AC kept us cool. Breakfast options, although limited, were really good - I had to keep having the whipped yoghurt with homemade granola - a really good start to the day! The hotel is close to key tourist locations and shopping and food experiences, although we caught grab taxis everywhere - the distance between locations is not as easy by foot. We also managed to find a laundry not too far away that collected and returned clothes to the reception desk! Would definitely stay again!

KenyaMy flight was at 7pm and would have loved an option for much later check out. But otherwise everything else was awesome.
Where do I even start? I loved the entire aesthetic that the Hotel had, from the really cute reception to the gorgeous and really cool room set up. Their snack collection is male up of Malaysian childhood favourites and I loved it! The bed was also super comfy and exactly what I needed after a long flight. Insane value for money. I will be back.

MalaysiaIf you are driving, you need to take into consideration not to drive a big car, the car entrance to the car park is very narrow. and if you didn't see clearly you will miss the turn, and end up circulating the area to get back to the narrow entrance to get to their car park. *It's between a seafood restaurant(if i remember correctly) and the shell station*
The property is located quite city centre, it's all walking distance if you want to go to Pavillion KL, Farenheit or TRX. The Hotel environment is quite chill and relaxing. Staff are friendly, you always feel you are well greet by the staff.

CambodiaNothing, it was perfect.
We absolutely loved our stay at KLoe Hotel. Everything was perfect, and we hope to be able to come back soon. The staff was so nice, the hotel is beautiful, there's a thorough attention to detail everywhere. The room was very comfortable and well thought out. I loved having Aesop products in the bathroom. We tried the food at the cafe and it was delicious. We didn't have time to try the pool, but I am sure it's delighftul after a long day of exploring.

SingaporeHotel itself is lovely, very comfortable and clean and it’s also a walk away from Pavillion and the whole cluster of malls but the best thing by far about this hotel is their staff. Everyone was warm and welcoming at every hour of the day, super helpful and also just a pleasure to interact with. They even went out of their way to decorate our room for our anniversary. Great spot, would recommend.

SingaporeThe entrance of Kloe hotel is slightly hard to find. When you call a Grab, make sure to select Kloe Hotel at the address 227 Jln Bukit Bintang, and not the Lucky Coffee Bar, because the latter will drop you off at the back of the building. When walking back at night, it was a little hard to find the entrance again because it's at the back of a petrol station, the arrow leading in isn't extremely clear. As for navigating outside, if you're walking from Kloe Hotel to Pavilion, take the smaller alleys toward Farenheit88; don't follow Google Maps on the big roads, as KL's road traffic is crazy and not very pedestrian-friendly.
The lobby downstairs was my favourite part of the stay. Cozy, green vibes, coffee aroma, gentle sounds of the coffee machine and clinking cups in the background. It had the feel of natural, easy-going cafe. The check-in staff at reception were friendly. At the lobby, the staff proactively asked if you required water, and placed water jugs and glasses within your reach. As for the room, I booked Room to Draw on the first day and City Room on my second day. I liked the latter better because it felt cleaner. The rooms have a kind of rustic, industrial, slightly unfinished look to them, which was not what I'm used to in a hotel stay but it's a new experience nonetheless. Shampoos smelled heavenly (geranium, bergamot, frankincense), it felt like a spa reset. There was a bathtub but I did not use it. Walking distance to Pavilion megamall, KLCC park.

Netherlands1. I miss the local Malaysian Dish on the breakfast menu. It doesn’t need to be Nasi Lemak but assorted Malaysian snacks would be a great addition. 2. The cafe runs out freshly squeezed orange, every single day we stay, that really is not fun.
There’s a personal touch in every corner of this hotel. I love how simple and yet delicious the breakfast is, the living room (re: Lobby) and the outstanding staff. The assorted childhood snacks hooked me at the first sight. I didn’t know I could be that happy seeing it :-) And yes, it’s a kids friendly hotel!

United KingdomThe hotel is perfectly located to walk to most places, although it was initially a little hard to work out how we got into the place (our grab driver was confused, which confused us too! 😅) breakfast was dreamy, and the whole place was so insta worthy. I was worried there would be noise being so close to everything, but it was so quiet in the rooms, and I loved the little details they had, such as a complimentary nostalgic sweets box when you come in. Great stay.
