How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewQuirky and trendy. We stayed in one of the themes rooms which was an amazing size with great bathroom facilities which spilled out into the bedroom. All the perks of a quality global chain hotel but much quirkier. Made a middle-aged married couple feel very cool!!
Nothing

Verified reviewDisappointing service, highly disappointed with customer service and the rooms cleanliness is questionable I got bites on my sleep and the poor customer service offered nothing to me when I asked them to clean the room they said they don’t have cleaning staff? I know it’s a 3 stars hotel but for the price and for the horrible service they deserve zero .
Dirty Room , Poor WiFi , breakfast is a scam literally they let you choose one item of five item, I forgot my new shoes there and they said they will deliver it to me I informed them 2 days before my flight yet they never return my item , disappointing experience across all services I tried many hotels and this is literally the worst , if you like the aesthetic just pass by snackfood pop-up other than that you will be setting yourself for failure

Verified reviewKloe hotel exceeded our expectations! The hotel staff were super kind and helpful and gave us solutions to any request we had. The room design was fantastic and the industrial reception also fantastic! The breakfast was memorable since it was not the same menu of a brunch place but a rather carefully chosen menu with new flavours and combinations. I had a brioche with scrambled eggs and beef streak i will never forget! coffee was also of excellent quality! The location was so close to Pavilion mall and this made our 2 days stay there super easy with no need for transportation.

Verified reviewClean and modern hotel in the centre of KL. Staff were so friendly and helpful and service was great throughout our stay. The room was spacious and had everything you could need with some great complimentary foods and drinks too! Bed and pillows were comfortable and the AC kept us cool. Breakfast options, although limited, were really good - I had to keep having the whipped yoghurt with homemade granola - a really good start to the day! The hotel is close to key tourist locations and shopping and food experiences, although we caught grab taxis everywhere - the distance between locations is not as easy by foot. We also managed to find a laundry not too far away that collected and returned clothes to the reception desk! Would definitely stay again!

Verified reviewWhere do I even start? I loved the entire aesthetic that the Hotel had, from the really cute reception to the gorgeous and really cool room set up. Their snack collection is male up of Malaysian childhood favourites and I loved it! The bed was also super comfy and exactly what I needed after a long flight. Insane value for money. I will be back.
My flight was at 7pm and would have loved an option for much later check out. But otherwise everything else was awesome.

The free breakfast was a bit light on and not enough tables to make eat it.

Verified reviewThe decor & staff were lovely
Breakfast was disappointing - served downstairs at the public cafe Lucky (instead of at restaurant on 1st floor which would have made more sense). Limited choice: no buffet & was only allowed to choose 1 drink & 1 food item which meant a glass of orange juice with my coffee cost me extra as did anything extra my son wanted to eat Iike some toast. Overall in my opinion, the breakfast experience doesn’t match the rest of the hotel’s luxurious vibe.

Verified reviewI liked the simple avocado toast and the latte. For me it's sufficient and simple. The coffee was good
I just started my shower when I found that the body cleanser dispenser was empty! I had to make do with using the shampoo to clean my body. This is the first time it had happened to me in a hotel. The drainage of the shower cubicle was so slow that I had to pause my shower to allow the water to drain off to avoid flooding the bathroom.

Verified reviewThe property is located quite city centre, it's all walking distance if you want to go to Pavillion KL, Farenheit or TRX. The Hotel environment is quite chill and relaxing. Staff are friendly, you always feel you are well greet by the staff.
If you are driving, you need to take into consideration not to drive a big car, the car entrance to the car park is very narrow. and if you didn't see clearly you will miss the turn, and end up circulating the area to get back to the narrow entrance to get to their car park. *It's between a seafood restaurant(if i remember correctly) and the shell station*
