The place was clean, especially the bathroom. Security is good. The location is great. Most shopping was within walking distance. Most amenities were sufficient.

Just a little heads-up for future guests: some rooms have external private bathrooms instead of attached ones. It’s not a big problem, but it would be great if this could be clearly stated in the booking details so expectations are set right.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable . The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent just a short walking distance to Melaka’s main attractions.

The staff, although friendly enough, were not well trained. For example, I had to ask before I was told how to open the entrance gate at night.

The hotel was easy enough to find. Security was decent yet relaxed. We were upgraded to larger rooms (although I suspect that the reason was that the actual rooms we booked were occupied).

The walls were a little thin, we had very noisy/excited neighbours who made a lot of noise and woke us up, we also heard quite abit of road noise in the morning from the main road outside, through the night it was okay except the odd loud exhaust car. We also don't get any toilet roll in the room (maybe an error), the plug sockets are on the opposite side of the room, and we also found a couple of big black hairs on the bed/pillow (neither of us have black hair). Apart from these small things it was a pleasant stay and we would stay here again. Thank you

The property is only a 10 minute walk to the closest shopping mall, there is a street 2 streets along which has lots of restaurants on, it's a 20-30 minute walk to the main part of Melaka where there's stuff going on. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable enough, the aircon was okay, the bathroom was a good size. Good value for money and we would stay again.

-Staff is friendly and helpful. -The floor is not so clean. -The bedframe is out of function. It fall easily when sleep on it. Could be dangerous.

I guess it's a nice place to stay for a couple nights, not for weeks. It seems that there are some people living in the hostel and that means that they cook and use the kitchen at anytime of the day (sometimes at 3am/4am). Sometimes I was woken up in the middle of the night because my room was close to the kitchen and people were loudly chatting. Also the smell wasn't pleasant and it entered my room. It would be nice to have rules to use the kitchen so the guests staying where I stayed won't be disturbed. No chair or bed side tables in the room and it was challenging to charge my phone as there were no free plugs (I had to unplug the fan every time for instance). The room wasn't quiet because it had huge windows facing a busy road. Overall I couldn't expect much for the price I paid but I'm just leaving my honest review so that the property can improve and future guests know what to expect. On the other hand there was free drinking cold and hot water, both the AC and fan worked perfectly as well as the wifi.

In the reservation we had written ‘4 rooms with bathrooms’, unfortunately not all rooms had it - most of us used the ones in the corridor.

Quiet location close to the centre, a side street allows you to spend the night in silence, even when there is a night market at the weekend. A friendly staff, very helpful. Water in the lobby, clean bathrooms, table and fridge available for guests.

Easy to discuss about anything.. Everything can tolerate with a good conversation.. Room condition is terrible from maintenance side, room cleanliness is good enough, located in the middle of Melaka city, overall it's still can lah.. There also provide beverages at Hotel Counter for free and no limit and maybe you can improve from door security... That door latch is not functioning 😂😂
