Unfortunately our room smelled badly of smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. We were also disappointed that the tennis courts were only accessible to members as we had planned to play! Perhaps some clarity on facilities included (in then information) would help.

The apartments and facilities were lovely. Check in staff were friendly and the process was smooth.

The ventilator in the bathroom extremely noise and blow out heated air which is very unbearable especially in such hot weather!! Reception and any other staff off duty after 8pm making it difficult to contact for service and support

It’s not located in Ipoh town but we stayed there for local friend’s home proximity to do pick up etc. It’s a well maintained golf resort so it’s surrounded by beautiful scenery and facilities include free laundry room.

Nothing to dislike

On arrival the reception staff were very helpful and friendly, the suite was clean and comfortable and had a view overlooking the golf course and pool area. It had lovely modern decor, a good fridge and kettle. The cafe where we bought breakfast (croissants and coffee) was good and we were able to sit outside on the terrace. We also ate both nights in the restaurant which was busy as it was Chinese New Year, but the meals we had were good and the staff worked hard and were helpful and friendly. It was a last minute booking as we initially had booked 4 nights in Cameron Highlands but then realising there wasn't enough to do there, so Ipoh looked to be the next best place to stay on our way to Georgetown. We were very pleased with everything and we took a taxi into Ipoh to see all the street art which was amazing. A good choice for a 2 night stay.

No ventilation in both shower rooms. the air conditioner in the master room was a bit noisy. need to wait for water to heat up after shower of 2 people.

There was only one sachet of coffee each every 24 hours. There was only a body/hair wash, rather than separate shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion. The restaurant was limited in what was on offer, particularly with regard to alcoholic drinks, viz either beer or a vodka and orange juice; no wine, no spirits, no liqueurs. On the first day, we were told we had to have a caddie with us on the golf course. We found her very abrupt and she pushed us along faster than we wanted to go. She then asked for double the fee that we had been advised by the golf administrator.

The reception staff were very helpful and explained how the property worked. The room was spacious and very clean. The kitchenette was fully equipped. The golf course and scenery were outstanding.

Well appointed, comfortable and spacious property. Ideal location on beautiful resort with great facilities, not just for golfers but for all the family. Dining choices are extensive and great quality, and the staff (reception, golf and dining) were exceptional.

The unit is surprisingly nice and cosy and clean! The airconditon was ON in the unit , prepared to receive us with nice and cool rooms. The complimentary drinks were a nice touch too

The environment of the resort is chill and relax. There is a restaurant nearby, so it is convenient to get our breakfast and dinner. The unit is spacious and well equipped. There was raining during our stay, the resort uses a buggy to send us to the restaurant.

Not a complaint at all, but if you go without a car, arrange to meet the taxi drivers in front of the inner security gate as they have some difficulties getting through the inner gate to the front of the hotel.

Beautiful golf and spa resort. Lovely room and pleasant, helpful staff. Great little café overlooking the resort for breakfast and snacks/coffee during the day. The staff will take you back and forth from reception to the cafe in a golf cart! Also, there is a large restaurant with a reasonable menu choice. Taxis into Ipoh are very cheap from the hotel.. Ipoh has plenty of culture and I recommend spending a few days here to take in the city centre, the museums, the local park, waterfall and temples..The nightlife is also excellent for young and older generations.

No proper or clear signage to go to the villa (of Meru Suites) upon the first entrance / guard house. We find like a maze in the dark as when we check in, it was at night.

Rooms were comfortable. I like that inside the suites, they provided facilities such as washer and dryer facility. The villa is well-kept and clean.
