Some evenings there was loud music from the ground floor. Not this host's fault, but the building owner could put some thought into improving the look of the ugly roofing on the ground floor.

Nice spacious room with a small kitchen area. It was all clean. However some of the bathroom fittings need to be renewed. Great balcony and a good view to the sea and inland from the 6th floor. Nice sunrises. Very near to the beach and also the main road for buses. Host was easy to contact and helpful. Staff in reception area were very nice.

The elevator is slow especially when there is an event going on.The hotel is a bit seasoned. A policy of RM300 deposit.

The unit we stayed have a great view. There is a convenience store, a bar and also restaurant at the place so it makes things easier. We were given seasonal parking card as well. Everything is complete in the room. Even the tv has netflix and youtube. Easy way of checking in and out. Good host!

The room needs a little bit of TLC, such as replacing the carpet, which is looking very threadbare, with tiles.

Great view, nice big balcony, good location. Comfortable room, fitted with everything you may need with all the required basics in the kitchenette. Owners were very friendly & accommodating - fetched me from the airport & even brought me jack fruit from their garden. Lovely shaded pool area, right on the beach.

Not enough parking bay, small and narrow. Parking basement is dark. Surrounging area is dirty and messy. Needs to tidy up and maintain the area.

The WiFi speed or the lack of it. You need speed when you have kids that usually spend some time in the room for internet TV, social media and/or games. You need speed for adults whose work need connection speed. So if your family need fast WiFi then this is not it. In fact the speed is something like 3.5G. However, if you just need the room for a good night's rest then it has the basic things you need. Outside of the room, hotel facilities, however, is really old and rundown. It definitely needs some work. Stale corridor carpet, plaster ceiling that's almost coming off, elevator tiles that's coming loose.

Love the location. Convenient and easy access to town and also to the beach. The 1-room suite is clean, equipped and quaint.

Please avoid the hotel breakfast buffet and walk across the road instead. More options and much better food. I understand that the property is privately managed and regular housekeeping is not part of the deal. But at least one extra towel and toilet roll wouldn’t hurt.

The view was excellent! The location was very handy with cafés across the street. The Laguna Beach Bar being downstairs was extremely entertaining over the weekend (but please book in advance!!) The check-in/ check-out process was smoother than any other privately managed room that I have booked in Malaysia.
