Good location.

Poor breakfast.

The hotel location and its decorations are amazing. I think it's a great place to stay to visit Georgetown and Penang at large for a reasonable price.

There was a minor kerfuffle at the beginning concerning the hours of the breakfast. Also, we were not too convinced by the breakfast but maybe it's just our taste.

Location walking distance to many attractions. Staff were lovely. Dealt very quickly with any little problem.

Some switches not working, aircond not cold enough, jacuzzi wasnt working when we arrived

Staying in a building with so much history.

Although the bed was big, it was quite hard. A topper has been put on it which helped a bit.

Bit old. Our bathroom door very squeaky and about to fall off. Very noisy room.

They listed a pool but there is no pool.

Historic, unique, central location

Restaurant inside was disappointing

The whole place was absolutely amazing. Within walking distance to eatery and Walk@Chowrasta.

If you want to stay in old town, search no further. We stayed in an 2-story old town style house with 3 rooms as we are a family of 6. 1st floor with living room and kitchen gave us a feeling that we are traveling in the past. 2nd floor with 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms are fully renovated into modern hotel rooms and very comfortable and clean. Staffs were kind and willing to help. Location is perfect. You can walk to many restaurants and cafes nearby and walking around the old town feels good. Breakfast was not very special but good enough to start a lazy holiday morning.

My house was located across the street from the main lobby. So we need ti cross the street every time we go to the lobby, it was fun though.

Felt very homely, was nice to have a balcony and lounge room. Location was really good.

The toiletries feels so cheap. The shower water pressure is disappointing.

Outstanding location with spacious room. Nice & clean with all of the facilities you could need + friendly, helpful staff. Beds are quite firm which I personally like but something to be mindful if that isn't your thing! Beautiful older building within walking distance to many of Georgetown's major sights + a heap of delish food nearby.

You can hear others walking around in their rooms if you aren't on the top floor. Totally can't be helped due to the age of the building so not a negative from me but something to call out for others who are considering booking.

Nice clean affordable

It was a really bad experience I ever experienced in my hall life. The staff were very rude. When I arrived no one helped me to take my luggages , I took them to my room by myself. The smell was very bad in the lobby and room . I did check in after 5 minutes I did check out and left immediately. By the way even the staff did not asked me why u want to make check out . They really don’t care about their customers. Anyhow that was too bad . The WiFi is very poor and weakness, I swear I couldn’t connect to the Wifi from my room when I went down to see with the reception staff they asked me to connect from the lobby . Can you imagine that !!!

The location and the staff, along with the Italian restaurant inside the hotel.

Permanently opened windows that allows the outside heat and lizards to come inside the flat. This made us leave the hotel, and we didn’t even spend a night there.
