maintenance was poor. Air cond was making loud sounds, shower holder broken, bathtub corners looks flimsy and cracked , floor was full of scratches , lights are too dim at least have one proper lighting at the vanity. Breakfast buffet was ok only, the ala cart menu was so much better. Hope to have more choices on the spa choices, and should clarify to customer regarding the hot stone antioxidant chamber regarding the treatment because i thought it was a hot stone massage🥲but the chamber is ok but not what i was expecting.

Facilities especially the pool and peacefulness. Ala cart food was good.

My recent stay at this resort was a refreshing escape — surrounded by greenery, peaceful landscapes, and a calm atmosphere that made me feel like I was deep in a tropical rainforest. The environment is ideal for relaxation, and the overall setting truly helps guests disconnect from daily stress and reconnect with nature. The staff were exceptional — very friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality added a personal touch that made the experience even more meaningful. As a suggestion for future improvement, I believe the experience could be elevated further if the resort could provide a dedicated fishing spot and a BBQ area. These additions would create more engaging outdoor activities for guests, especially for families or group travelers. Imagine enjoying a peaceful morning of fishing followed by an evening BBQ under the stars — it would add a wonderful sense of community and leisure to the stay. Overall, it's a beautiful place with great potential, and I truly look forward to returning — hopefully with more facilities to enjoy next time!

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a sense of calm rarely found in typical hotel settings. Nestled amidst nature, this hotel and spa truly offers a retreat-like experience — as though you’ve stepped into a peaceful rainforest far from the city’s chaos. The surrounding landscape is lush and green, with walking paths that lead you through beautifully maintained gardens and a plantation that brings you closer to nature with every step. One of the unexpected highlights was the fishing area within the property — a serene spot where guests can relax by the water, enjoy the fresh air, and truly disconnect. It’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and be present. The ambience throughout the entire property is soothing, quiet, and refreshingly natural — perfect for reflection, rest, or simply spending time with loved ones. But what truly made the stay memorable was the staff. Every single team member I encountered was incredibly warm, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Their service didn’t feel like a routine job — it felt personal, thoughtful, and full of heart. Whether you're looking for a weekend escape, a wellness retreat, or just a quiet place to recharge, this place is a hidden gem worth discovering."

The location seems to attract young families, so there are going to be a lot of children in the pool. The facilities in the room like the hotel phone (not connected), TV (bad reception, no connectivity to phone, or HDMI cable) and grout in the bathrooms are definitely aged.

The location is serene and beautiful. Good to be close to nature. The woodwork is exquisite, and they're doing their best to maintain the structure through the property. The breakfast buffet and dinner at Chavo Chavo have a small selection, but the food was delicious. The gym, sauna, and spa were lovely.

Check in at 3pm. Not flexible. We came here to relax. Why we have to wait till 3,pm for check in when rooms are available. Hotels provide service. Many hotels do not follow this rule. This is contradicting to service to customers.

Bathroom had many issues: Shower head couldn't be mounted, exhaust fan was not functioning and on the last day before check out the toilet flush stopped working. Informed the front desk regarding the 1st two matters and it was resolved quickly. The last matter was informed at checkout. Also room fan only had 1 speed which was super fast. Full speed or nothing. Phone in the room was just for show. No wire connected. To make requests either have to go to front desk or whatsapp the number given. Cell service was poor and wifi was also patchy in the room. Better toward the lobby area.

The pool was awesome. Love the waterfall and the folliage surrounding it. Spa services were good and the attendant did a great job. Vegetarian food at Bayu Cabana was really delicious, might come back for this.

Breakfast could be improved e.g. by having more tasty fried noodles and nasi lemak with pandan leaves aroma since the menu is limited.

Really impressed by the ambience of the room made by logs from Rusia. We booked two villa rooms and were thankful to have the 2nd floor facing the pool. Amazing view with the man-made waterfall. The balcony was clean and perfect to unwind. As the rooms were built using logs, we could hear other guests' voices but luckily other guests on the 1st floor were cooperative. My room has a fan as an alternative for the air-conditioner. It was cold at night so we opted to turn on the fan. Unfortunately, the fan for another room was not working. We had our dinner at a vegetarian restaurant next to the pool. It was unexpectedly great! We had a buffet breakfast in the morning, with sufficient menus but it could be better with more varieties. The room rate included a complimentary farm tour. We had the chance to try the berries and grapes. The tour guide made the 40-minute tour a fun and joyful one. Overall, it was a great weekend getaway for our family.

Beautiful eco resort - loved the greenery and forest all around us. Our room was clean and spacious, check-in was smooth. There is a slight language barrier when speaking with staff, so communication in English could be better. Breakfast options are limited but food was good. If you want your room made up, let them know before you leave for the day.

We got upper level room, and downstairs neighbour complaint noises of baby footsteps running to and fro (we brought our 2yr old kid). Its a log cabin, of course you will hear noise. Luckily our wifi room broke down (or maybe its coincidence), we got transferred to other room. This is the only thing that bring down the rate to 8, or else i will put 10/10.

The design of the resort are unique. It feels like surrounded by nature. Got mini farm, great places for photo. Everything is great.
