Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Sri LankaHere's a hotel review based on your feedback: Great Value with Smooth Self-Check-in I recently stayed at this hotel and was very satisfied with my experience, especially given the affordable price. While it's a budget-friendly option, the cleanliness was definitely up to par, which is always a major plus. The self-check-in process was a breeze, making arrival and departure incredibly convenient. For those driving, there's sufficient on-site parking for one car, and if that's occupied, roadside parking is readily available. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, affordable stay with the added convenience of self-check-in.

MalaysiaPerhaps can add hangers in the wardrobe or provide hook to hanging clothes and towel. Not sound proof but it is okay since it is just RM53 per night and no other visitors when I was there for the first night and the other occupants and not making noise. Share bathroom but it is okay for the price I paid and super clean bathroom.
Spotless Clean. Easy check in and out. Feel Secure. Can sleep well. Room complete with thick comfortable double bed, wardrobe, writing table and dressing table. Clean towel and body wash provided. Air cond and fan. Good value for money.

SpainThe location it’s far from the center. But picking a grab it’s cheap. If not, we rented a motorbike and it was an amazing idea.
The stuff was so kind. They let us keep our luggage before and after our check-in and check-out. The communication with them was superb.

MalaysiaThe staff were staying upstairs, but it have furniture moving and walking sound. Also, the kitchen was so full of unclean dishes (see the pictures). Even the rice cooker are always filled by rice. It doubt that the staff intentionally don't want the guest to use the kitchen. The most things I don't like is the staff deep oil fry fish at the morning to make the house with very bed oily smell. I am not afford to stay at room and have to go out until the staff cooking complete.
Spacious. Good for budget staying. Full facility with drinking water and washing machine.

MalaysiaPerfect stay for me. Rain Forest Hostel was a very convenient & strategic location. Very close to AEON mall and Lost World of Tambun. The rooms are sparkling clean and tidy. Moreover, the rooms have air conditioning, very comfortable to stay.Free WiFi and free parking space.. Highly recommended!! Love the stay so much.
