We had a very spacious garden room , but it looked tired, bathroom taps were loose and grouting grubby , apart from that all good .

We liked the chilled vibe of the property. It a bit dated, which we didn’t mind. Ate at the beach cafe a few times, that was easy and the food was good. Would suggest paying a little more and getting a beachfront room.

The price for the drinks was quite a lot but not unlike other resorts in Langkawi. There was a little shop on site though where we bought most of our soft drinks.

We had a fantastic week at Rebak. The staff were so lovely and friendly. The pool and beach were beautiful. We really appreciated the private beach and quiet location (the planes flying overhead didn’t bother us). The additional free things to do were the icing on the cake such as the mid week movie night on the beach and the local nature walks. I had a lovely spa treatment and my children spent over an hour creating some beautiful batik paintings. Overall tho, the feeling of the resort and the staff was relaxed and friendly. We loved it!

Occasionally the pool area became quite busy and there was a strange thing going on between guests and pool attendants who kept confiscating and hiding the balls from the pool. We couldn’t understand this ‘game’ as there appeared to be no sign banning ball games? Generally the pool area was clean but when it was busy it felt less clean and tidy which included the toilet area too.

From the moment we arrived we felt truly welcomed. It felt very special taking the speedboat across to the Island, all our luggage was taken care of and a buggy was waiting to take us to reception where we were given ice cold face towels and complimentary drinks. Sati the resort manager kindly came over to welcome us and introduced himself. We were soon driven to our impressive sea view rooms which were spacious and incredibly comfortable, especially the huge bed and luxury bed linen. The pool area was quiet and chilled and we enjoyed a bar snack which was quite pricey but we weren’t surprised by the levy imposed to island resort food and drink. We were impressed with the buffet dinner which was delicious and extensive in choice. An evening meal for the 4 of us ordered from the restaurant menu was 400 MYR; 2 starters, 4 mains and 2 desserts. Breakfast was fantastic, everything you could wish for and catering for all tastes and cultures. We would be so full that we didn’t need to eat again until the evening. Favourites were the omelettes, local curries, pancakes, fresh fruit and the freshly baked pastries. Oh and the sparkling wine, a great start to the day! We spent 6 nights at Rebak and couldn’t have had a more relaxing time. We did very little which is exactly what we had intended to mark the end of our Malaysian travels. All rooms at the resort are surrounded by stunning tropical trees and plants inhabited by monkey’s and birds which provide a wonderful sound to wake up to in the morning. Sati the resort manager was exemplary and always gave his time and knowledge to the guests (and played pool with me and my son, together with Haafiz, the tennis coach -- thank you both, a rematch calls!) A special shout out to the restaurant staff, especially Namia and Rizal who looked after us so impeccably for the duration of our stay. Thank you Sati and your wonderful team -- we will miss you!

Rooms are a bit dated and old. There is moist smell in the rooms due to moisture.

Breakfast and the food at the hotel is great! Staff is very courteous and polite, top-notch service Pool area and bar happy-hours are a great add-on.

In short a 10/10 experience 💯📣 Do not hesitate to choose this resort!! Whatever you expect from a vacation is delivered and even beyond, not exaggerating. They had a super creative schedule to keep the guests entertained and comfortable. Truly pamper their guests with every tiny detail you find in the resort whether it’s a physical structure installed or the atmosphere and overall feeling you get; Also know how to bring a smile to your face and make you feel at home. Almost all of the staff were smiling all the time and were genuinely friendly. I will definitely miss them. Unbelievably every little thing was perfect. The only thing I can think of that wasn’t is the choice of their movie under the star program and the fact that the sea was too shallow to swim🙃 Nevertheless you must not miss the opportunity of visiting this beautiful island. I just remembered that even the ferry to leave and come back to the island was free for unlimited times!!!!!unlike other resorts that make you forget all about leaving the island and feeling stuck in the resort. I must take time to specially thank Mr shaval who made this trip even better and appreciate all of the staff’s next level hospitality❤️

Everything was amazing. The venue is on a private island, peaceful and quiet, with direct access to the sea and a beautiful pool, all maintained to perfection. The whole place feels exclusive and relaxing, surrounded by nature and with stunning views everywhere. Staff are outstanding – very professional, always smiling, helpful and polite, making you feel truly welcomed every moment of the day. The food was excellent every time, with great variety and quality, and the breakfast selection was wide and delicious. The rooms are huge, super clean, very comfortable and extremely spacious, with all details well taken care of. Every corner of the resort is well kept and makes you feel at home while being in a paradise. Our days in Rebak were pure relaxation, everything felt like a dream from start to end. Without doubt, a 10 out of 10 experience.

None, everything was just as we wished for.

We had the pleasure of staying at Rebak Island Resort for six days, and it was truly a wonderful experience. Traveling with our two daughters, aged 14 and 11, we stayed in the two-bedroom suite, which was spacious and equipped with very comfortable beds. We thoroughly enjoyed the serene beach, the inviting pool, and above all, the exceptional service and delicious meals at the Senari Restaurant. Our heartfelt thanks go to the resort manager, Mr. Sati, and his dedicated team for their warm hospitality and outstanding service. They truly made our stay both memorable and enjoyable.

The rooms are a little older and a bit creaky including hearing those in the rooms above walking around. There is only one restaurant so the choice for lunch and dinner is a bit limited. Some of the activities that are listed weren't operating like the ATV rides.

Beaches outside of the main resort were littered with rubbish that was washed up. The resort needs to have regular clean ups on these beaches. Reception staff communication was lacking with repair requests, and information not always consistent, wake-up call was offered but not received. The ensuite shower was only usable when hand held, and water went everywhere.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food options were great.

I loved everything about the resort. The location is amazing. The boat trip over is only about 5 minutes and the island is very tranquil. The staff in the resort are all extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We had an early checkout, before breskfast had started, but the chef made us up a packed breakfast to take with us. The accommodation is old but really lovely, keeping in character with the island. The beds were super comfy and the apartment was very clean. The pool and beach area was great. A really nice sized pool and Happy hour was on for most of the evening from 5pm. The restaurant was brilliant. Breakfast was included and it was great. There is an a al carte option available for lunch and each evening there is a choice of a la carte or buffet. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The spa was great and again very inexpensive. Activities are organised on site and off site tours are also organised. The Mangrove cruise is really worth doing. It's not an over big resort and it was really relaxed. I would highly recommend it. Just wished I was staying longer.

Getting a little tired in places although maintenence were responsive to the window and lock that were not functioning correctly in our room. Room did smell of damp on arrival, but everything is wood and the environment is humid so to be expected. Unfortunately advertised activities like ATV were closed for maintenance.
