How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Water ditty , the contactor repaired the tank in the morning when we going to take shower & brushing teeth. Do the tank in the afternoon , where customer out for side seeing.

No windows in the room, might be a little more challenging to get up in the morning.

I have a clogged toilet. There is only one iron for the whole floor not one iron for one room.
The bed is very comfortable, and the cleanliness of the bathroom is also good.

Not wheelchair/elderly friendly as my room were at floor 3, luckily this time didnt bring my nenek to vacation together, else she will have a hard time to naik tangga until floor 3.
Easy access to all attractions, mainly near to menara taming sari which is then if you walk abit more, you can reach to jonker street. All is within 5-15min walking distance from the hotel which is considered super okay. (Be advised that on weekend and holiday, bandar part is super pack, soo it is better to just walk from hotel as you cant even find any parking also if you plan to explore the bandar with a car)

Had to call the hotel staff to sweep the floor. The toilet also got stains from paint and rust here and there.
Very friendly and helpful hotel staffs, they assisted to change room for us upon request from level 2 to level 1 since we have elderlies with us and the stairs too steep. Also, we were given 2 fluffy pillows for each of us and we loved that. Overall, the stay was fine and enough, had a good night sleep too.

Not that i didnt like but its more on areas to improve. 1) the google map directed us to the diff branch which is very much nearer to Jonker walk. Seems rooms are avail, so we just book there, instead we find the one in Melaka Parade. Ha3 def NO as time is already 9pm. 2) parking is very limited as located at the small street/alley in front of hotel. Therefore, hotel guest may drop their family members/friends 1st before search an empty parking lot. However, Ahmad being very kind and proactive, he gave the vip parking lot for us to park as i have swollen ankle on my left foot.
Basic fasilities for budget hotel? Great. Cleanliness? Great. Frontdesk Staff? Ahmad is people oriented. Credit to Ahmad. He is friendly, easy to deal with. Room for 2 super single bed, is excellent. Room deco & design is simple.we love so much. Water supply is gud. Lighting is ok Overall is great.

Bidet leaked for one night (fixed with positioning) and the hotel is a little old, with the floor looking a bit tired and dirty. Enjoyable stay otherwise.
Excellent location, walking distance to the main attractions (Dutch Quarter, Jonker Street, St Paul's Hill, etc.), very generously sized room with adequate room for luggage. Bathroom well ventilated with a window and decently spacious. Good value for money.
