Parking based on luck. Can be real busy and may have to park far. Came on Thursday to Saturday - friday packed with holiday makers with kids can be heard making loud screaming early morning n nights. Hard to find chinese restaurants but there are eateries. Had to eat within the area if not wanting to sacrifice parking spot. So glad to see steamboat.

The host, Charyn was wonderful. Booking did not facilitated 2 rooms to be in same unit. Anyhow, she made sure the 2 rooms were in same unit bcos of my elderly mum n my 2 kids - checking in was smooth. N going to unit in such a big place was not a problem. Lots of mini markets to get stuff so it is convenient. Unit so clean, comfy n everything is provided except laundry detergent. So glad to see glass electric kettle and crockery rather than in plastic. We stayed on 8th floor.

Would come back again. The owner was very helpful n full of information on where to go and eat. 10 minutes walk from the Main bus stop in Tanah Rata.. Had a hot water switch issue and the owner got it fix immediately, thank u.

The room, the bathroom and the apartment as a whole were all very comfortable, clean and spacious. It was an excellent stay. The host was extremely kind and helpful. It was perfect, my partner and I were very pleased. The location is about 15 minutes walk from the main town but there are many restaurants and shops in the immediate area and the walk to the town is easy.

The area where the dorm beds are is kind of open, so it's not seperate rooms but all the beds are in the same room where the reception also is. But the beds have curtains, so you still have your privacy

The owner is the nicest, funniest woman. Small, clean and social hostel with amazing breakfast. The beds are super comfortable! If I ever go back to Cameron Highlands, I'll definetly stay at The Cave again!

The place is a little bit away for the center but it is absolutely fine to walk (less than 10mn)

We liked our stay at The Cave as the room was clean and comfortable. The host offers warm welcome and good advice, together with some activities. I recommend!

We had a really great stay at the Cave, Charen is a great host, very kind and helpful! We stayed in the double room, everything was comfortable and clean, there is a fridge, filtered water and common space. We recommend their breakfast too, very nice bread, strawberry jam, kaya and peanut butter, all home-made! We also booked the half day tour with them and had a super guide, he made our trip much more interesting giving many explanations about tea making and the animals and plants we could see around. Fully recommended!

Mattress had a groove, could use replacing.

The room was separate from "the cave" and located in an apartment along with other rooms, in a tower block a short walk a way. The owner was helpful in explaining the hikes around the area. The room was basic but clean. There was an excellent inexpensive local resturaunt called "al raudah" close by.

The property is great and you can book tea farm tours through them. The highlight is the homemade breakfast the amazing host, Charen, serves! Thank you again Charen for the warm welcome and wonderful stay.

There are no doors so each set of beds is open to the main room meaning any noise/light will probably wake you up. I was alone in the dorm building for one night which was a bit creepy but also gives you privacy without paying for it. Other guests come in for breakfast at 7:30am so you may get an early wake up! It’s a 10/15 minute walk into the town but most of it is paved.

Charen is great and very welcoming. It’s nice to have curtains for privacy and the use of some basic kitchen appliances. The sunset tour was great and easy to organise.
