Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MalaysiaIt was the first and last stay at this airbnb due to bad circumstances. First, it’s a hassle for the guests to collect the key at a different location (Mcity) on their own. You should have prepared for the key to be collected from the apartment mailbox. It doesn’t make sense to collect the key from a different building and check in to a different building. Second, every single thing is chargeable! The parking, extra bed and everything in the house. When we first arrived, the rooms and hall were quite clean except the balcony area. There were big chunks of stains with water from the aircond kept leaking. You can login to Netflix account but the TV couldn’t support the format so all the movies can’t be played 😮💨 please change your TV and remote, it’s bad. All in all, this place is not worth the price (booked on New Year’s eve) and it’s mediocre at its best. The deposit was RM300 and it really doesn’t make sense given with the said situations. Since it’s airbnb, you should be considerate with the check out time. It’s not practical to check out at 11am instead of 12pm. It’s an okay place to stay but not worth the price.

MalaysiaWE BOOKED THE WHOLE APPARTMENT and we are regularly doing that using booking.com from different family accounts. Booked for 2 adults and 2 kids (but I brought 3 kids and 1 adult/me) / not sure it should be an issue for the property owner. House was dirty and smelly. The hall aircond was leaking and half of the hall floor was flooded because of the aircond leakage. My son slipt on the floor and fall till we have to rush him to clinic. The property owner/agents made a WhatsApp group and asked for cash payments which i refused and I paid by QR to ST NOMAD SDN BHD the amount was RM703.83. Later on they asked if we want refund by cash they will charge extra RM30 for that (which we didn't request though). We had an instinct about the scammy behaviour of this group and we wanted to cancel the booking after 10minutes we realized our mistake, even we haven't paid yet, but they asked to pay for RM265 as a fee of cancellation😔, we have requested cancellation through booking.com but it was declined. We decided to try our luck even we were not happy. We could simply block our card and left the booking expire itself but we didn't do that, as a genuine and loyal customer of booking.com we agreed to pay that amount. - the price in booking.com was RM272 with some terms that they might add later on and they did so end up with RM365.03 + RM300 we have paid which make sence. - the worse part they have WhatsApp me in the group that we are allowed to use ONLY 1 ROOM. After i argue in group they said it's ok you can use 2 rooms and the 3rd room will be charged if we touched it😭. - inside the 3rd room they had some extra mattresses and other stuff and they have written prices on every item which was wiered and scammy. - the balcony outdoor aircond unit was also leaking on our heads when kids wanted have a view out of the balcony grill.
Pool was good but the entrance door was damaged and they could unlock for us and we waited for 45min with kids. We paid RM600 for 1 night but the price written RM272

AustraliaThe staff who managed the booking tried to get me to pay a dodgy website. It didn't seem trustworthy so I went to Element and spoke to the centre management, they advised that people are usually met at the property to pay and handover keys. I repeatedly asked the booking staff to meet me there so I could pay cash and they could not confirm a time with me. It all seemed too dodgy and possibly a scam. I found another similar quality closeby for 1/2 the price.
