MalaysiaWe like anything with a speedy water shower, clean and breathable room, and this hotel delivered exactly that. The receptionist was friendly, which made check-in and our stay more welcoming. But our mistake was parking right in front of the hotel, which got us a parking ticket from Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh (MBI). So, folks, make sure to park in the designated hotel parking area to avoid the same issue.

MalaysiaThere's nothing that I do not like at the hotel. It's Booking.com that I am very unhappy with. As a senior, and a first time user, I struggle with the booking process with various options, etc. On the first try, I was given a quote with a discount however later on firming the booking, the discount was excluded. I regret using Booking.com. I hope Booking.com can offer an explanation.

I booked two rooms—one Deluxe and one Double. I didn’t realize the Double room had a very small window that couldn’t be opened, so I ended up upgrading to a Deluxe room. The upgrade cost more than it would have if I had just booked the Deluxe room directly on Booking.com. Just something to keep in mind when making your reservation. Overall, the hotel and staff were very friendly and welcoming! :)

AustraliaBed was too high. No safe. Daily ration of one 3 in 1 tea bag and one 3 in 1 coffee bag.... for 2 people. Nothing much around at night except for night market nearby. It sells junk.
Very helpful reception staff. Room is nice and bright. Shower is good. Very close to shops which cell snacks, pastries and cakes; as well as eateries for local food during the day.

The parking was on the streets not covered & we have to pay parking fees on normal days, I was lucky I travelled on a Sunday. No cafe / restaurant - so no breakfast / F&B. As such, for the price quoted - the price seems very high as there's no breakfast provided, no covered car park & room was rather small even for the biggest room.
Room was clean, comfortable & the facility / amenities provided within the room are very very good. We had a very comfortable stay I must say.
