Room: pillows had sweat smell, upon checking out suggested to reception to change all of them. Also the wardrobe has a sweat stench too, don’t know where that came from.

    Location convenience. AC was excellent

The property is next to two shopping centers - you just walk out and there are many options for dining and food. There are 3 supermarkets within 2-4 minutes walk from the property. Though Royale Chulan the Curve is an older property, in general it has been well maintained.

Short stay & shopping at IKEA....

There's only 2 lifts serving all the floors, including those 3 levels of parking basement. So my worry during peak time, maybe the waiting time will be longer. During my stay, it's not a problem. At night, I turned up the air-conditioning temperature, so it was a bit warmer, but my arm was bitten either by mosquitoes or bed bugs. Probably, the management could look into handling this pest issue.

I stayed off the city, and that day, I had some errands to do in KL. Upon checking in, I walked over to IKEA Damansara for some shopping. Hence, it was very convenient and comfortable arrangements for my family that day. Dropped off my wife at the lobby, including baggage, and just besides the lobby, was the ramp going down to basement parking. Got a parking space easily (maybe it was during weekdays). It seemed like a private parking for the hotel but you can access the shopping mall from basement as well, I think the parking was separated by kerbs from the shopping mall parkings, as the exit from the hotel parking lots was also thru the same ramp I went down earlier. It seemed a bit limited, but I saw in the lift to the hotel's lobby that it showed B2 & B3 as well, probably another 2 levels of basement. So, there is no need to worry about parking, just ask the security for assistance. I stayed at Level 3 and faced opposite IKEA, so I could see a bit of skyline of Damansara with condominium and hills. Maybe at a higher level, the view is better. The room was nice for a couple and everything in order. The small single sofa was stainless but a bit straight up. The lightings were wonderful, brightening up the room and at the rightly place. From my experience, some hotels do need a lighting consultant. Air-conditioning was also controllable with dial temperature control. So you need to know how the 'clicking-thing' functioned. Surprisingly, the room was equipped with Sharp Aquos smart TV. It has Google TV with Netflix, YouTube etc and even normal channels such as TV1, TV2 etc. But to have an HD viewing, watch YouTube. Breakfast was also quite good & tasty. At RM30++ per person, the spread was very good. From the lobby, it has a door to access the shopping mall (but it will be closed at 10 pm).

Additional pillow need to pay?!!! RC Damansara didn't charge at all FOC! Parking share with The Curve. Hourly charge with max fee RM10 every time you park. Should give RM4 per entry like RCD. Breakfast menu is limited and taste lousy too

    Location is ok

    1. Parking situation is not great. It's the same as the shopping mall, no flat rate for hotel guests. 2. Entrance to the room was very narrow, the door kept banging against the wardrobe door every time we enter. 3. The pillows were flat & uncomfortable, caused neckache.

The location (connected to the curve), air conditioning in the room is good, I had a lot of online meetings in my room and the WiFi connection was very good, no issues.

Located in the heart of The Curve, Mutiara Damansara, surrounded by great eateries, entertainment and shopping. Hotel staff were extremely warm, friendly and courteous. On the day we checked out the staff allowed us to keep our luggage in the lobby and we're extremely accommodating when we had to make 2 car trips to collect it piece meal!

Seletion of tv channel to be improved. Room condition can be upgraded (facelift). Food and beverages may also be improved by introducing new menu.

Location was convenience due to near the mall with only walking distance. The restaurant is quite good with variety of foods and beverages. Overall this is by far the best hotel and the staff is friendly and helpful.

The building looks old and not with the same photos in booking. The breakfast was under my expectation. The food is not cooked in the proper way and makes the same choices every day . The price of the hotel is more than the service . There are a deposit at the time of check-in . If you ask for more towels, you have to pay . The safety box was not working . The size of the beds is small .

The hotel is near the metro station and the curve mall , The staff are helpful, especially the manager called SHAN.. The room was clean and with good size . The bathroom and toilet in the room are so nice .

A restful and welcoming stay with a superb bed, friendly staff

    • Stayed 4 nights

the breakfast spread could use a bit more variety, and there weren’t any hooks in the bathroom, which made it a bit inconvenient.

We had such a restful stay during our stay here. The bed was one of the best I’ve experienced—firm yet incredibly comfortable. I usually struggle to sleep well on the first night in a hotel, but this time I slept soundly and woke up refreshed on day two. The room was clean and spacious, which made the stay even more comfortable. While some of the facilities show signs of age, everything was well-kept, and the bathtub was a big hit with the kids. What stood out most was the warm hospitality—the staff were all very polite and welcoming.

the location close to shopping centre where it is less crowded compare to Bukit Bintang and more relaxing especially for family. the room and toilet is spacious.
