Cleanliness could be better, quality of food as well. Some rooms have the old smell and worn out dirty couches- serious change of couch covers needed.

Everything was vintage and rustic. Sharing a drink or 2 with a seasoned old man from Australia on our visit was the highlight. It was by the fire place - pretty special. His experiences about life were thrilling to hear about. Loved the scones there.

The front line staff totally lack warmth and don’t exhibit welcoming behaviour at all. Stayed for 3 nights, everything was perfect but the staff is totally disengaged.

It’s beautifuly decorated, English country style cottage feel at its best. Clean towels and sheets👍🏻

It’s right next to the main road and it gets quite noisy with the traffic. Even at nights it’s noisy in the room

It’s unique countryside ambiance and vibes. Loved the furnishings, lighting and cozy feel once you step in. And the food was awesome, although I felt it was a little pricey. But we enjoyed it all.

it is right off the main road. considering the fact that there is no AC or fans, and you have to leave the windows open, you could have a room that is quite noisy. hence pls pick the right room to mitigate this. not all rooms have showers

really stuck to the old rustic feel from the colonial era. comfortable bed. quite easy to find as it is next to the golf course. the decor is very authentic and the gardens are very pretty. restaurant food was good, especially the onion soup!

Loved the old style decor in the rooms it matches the style of the building. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, we were unable to stay for the complimentary breakfast because we had a sunrise tour booked so they packed us a little breakfast for our trip and allowed us to check out of our room at 6am. And as we only stayed the night they were very accommodating. The surrounding gardens are so beautiful and we'll located to the centre of town (bus terminal) and the steamboat restaurant up the road (12min walk) was a delicious dinner option. The room was very clean and in great condition, provided with lovely hygiene and cleaning products. The bed was firm and comfortable. Wifi was fast and reliable.

It is a very old property has a lot of style but it does need renovating. They seem to be caught in the past and it would do well to have a spruce up.

the matrasses are very hard, not comfortable at all. The carpet in the room is dirty, time to change, showering in the bathtub with a curtain, hardly no place for your toiletries.

the property is still very english, very nice garden, peacefull neighbourhoud, attitude of the personel, dinner was also nice.

Our room was in one of the ancillary structures. The room was adequate but a bit shabby, and access was via a patio with uneven stairs and tiles.

The common rooms in the main building had an old fashioned charm. The restaurant was comfortable, and served excellent English food and a good breakfast. There are beautiful gardens with every flowering plant imaginable.

Just beware that rooms at upper floor do not has lif, should consider for old people or adults having knee problems

The bathroom is big but the bathtub is small and not suitable for elders. Better to add shower area. The room is dark can put some more light.
