The room was small, with very little room for luggage, and the lockers where quite small as well. The en-suite bathroom was basic, with no shelves or hooks for towels or toiletries, which was inconvenient when showering because there were no showercurtain or any other form of separation, so everything got wet. The lock to the bathroom was broken, and did not get fixed during the three days I stayed there, so you had to trust your roommates not to barge in. It gets cold at night in the highlands, so to have only one rather thin blanket was not enough for me. I slept in a bottom bunk, close to the floor, so it smelled rather damp and a bit moldy when laying in bed. The floor was also really dirty in the corners within by cubicle, and there was leftover trash there from previous guests.

Stayed in the smaller female dorm. The room was quiet and it had a small balcony with a great view of the mountains. The beds gave plenty of privacy and had a light and several poweroutlets. Met some great people in my room, but overall it didn’t feel like a very social hostel to meet other travelers

Although we had booked a private room, they attempted to come into the room unannounced multiple times. They never knocked and just used their key. When questioned on this, they only said that they were working there and wanted to get the bin. However, they still should have knocked instead of just barging in. Also, it's quite loud due to a lot of younger backpackers staying and socialising, although they have to be quiet from 11pm onwards.

We had a private room which was spacious, had a small balcony and a small private bathroom. There was a hairdryer and some lockers, however, no desk or chair. There was a good amount of shared spaces which were reasonably clean. Location is great and close to everything you need.

Mattresses were a lot like sleeping on a concrete slab. But at least I know they were regularly checked for bedbugs and sprayed with disinfectant, so at least they were clean concrete slabs.

Mixed shower/toilet in our room meant everything in there was usually wet. Shower also wouldn't turn hot (other travellers rooms were fine though). Not big problems for someone travelling at hostels.

Easily the most social hostel I've been to in Malaysia. Great organisation from the hostel staff to arrange trips into town, arranging hikes, and arranging tours. Lots of staff, great English, you can get food, drink and washing done on site. Great common room facilities. Bunks had lights, curtains and USB charging ports. Good sized bag lockers.

It was pretty filthy, it didn’t feel all that comfortable as two woman to be staying there. The privacy screen didn’t fully work and you couldn’t lock the lockers. The bed didn’t look very clean. We couldn’t even stay the night we honestly left after like 20 minutes

Really social hostel, great tour options available at desk, very helpfull personnel. My friend and I slept in a 4 person dorm which was spacious, bunk beds have curtains and we're comfortable, only made a bit of noise whil turning around in bed. Would definitely recommend this hostel!
