The room was to small with little space to move around the bed. There is also no tv or airconditioning in the rooms. The rooms are not soundproof and I could clearly hear the conversations nextdoor.

Beautiful place, breath taking views. The weather was perfect. The hosts and staff were amazing. We did yoga on some mornings, and that was one of the highlights. The location is also great, there's restaurants close by and padel as well. We also went to the star fish town.

I felt like I was in paradise — everything was perfect. I booked a sea view room and it was absolutely stunning. The swimming pool was also fantastic. I truly loved this place and can’t wait to come back!

We stayed at Kumba Lodge for 4 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The place is stunning, beautiful location. It sits on a unspoilt part of the beach with no constructions around. From our bed we watched the sunrise :-) The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the stay had a homely feel. The food was delicious (even the bread was homemade). Excellent yoga classes in an ocean facing yoga shala are a wonderful addition to the stay.

The rooms could get a little warm, there is no air conditioning but there is a fan. Some nights could have done with extra cooling when it was a hot day or extra fans/air con. This was no every night though, some nights were fine, but the hot days were really hot in the room.

Really beautiful calm space, short walk to the town and restaurants. Very rural environment but loads of culture and incredibly safe! Rooms were spacious and every room has a beautiful view. The food in the lodge its self is gorgeous and all very fresh and full of flavour. Bar and kitchen staff really friendly and helpful, the lodge its self is a calm space but a short walk you can find plenty of bars and restaurants, right by the beach and offer lots of activities to choose from at an additional cost.

Everything...the position, the seafacing room with private bathroom, the comfy bed, the food, the staff and Stephen the friendly owner who also gave Yoga classes to guests on Sunday mornings.

What is there not to like. Location overlooking the ocean was beautiful. We had a seafacing room which also looked out over the ocean....the bed was very good and the room was a good size with a private bathroom with a shower and was never without hot water should one need it. The meals in the restaurant were also delicious and the choice on the menu was varied and tasty. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Yoga is offered to their guests which takes place in a seperate area outside which also overlook the ocean. We had a wonderful time at Kumba Lodge and sincerely hope we get the chance to visit in the not too distant future.

One of the best places to stay in Tofo. The facilities are excellent. The service and all staff are very professional. The food is the best: fresh, diversified, everything was tasty, and there are lots of healthy options. The bread was always fresh and high in fibre. Coffee is good. Would highly recommend it. Kumba should be very proud

I can't think of anything that I didn't like.

The location of the lodge was perfect - perched on the sand dune looking out over the sea. The pool had the best view. The lodge was a very pleasant 15-20 minute walk along the beach to town if needed for restaurants/shops. Breakfast was lovely with a wide variety of food from cereal, fresh fruit, pancakes, eggs. There was always bottled water available from a dispenser for guests. Food from the restaurant was cooked fresh in front of you and always tasty. Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. It was easy to book trips and excursions and get information. The room was clean, bright, adequately sized with a modern bathroom and huge bed with mosquito net.

The staff was the most wonderful, so helpful and always making the day nicer. The room was basic and wonderful, like it's needed for a restful beach stay. The community area with the pool is stunning. The food was delicious and fresh. The free yoga classes where the cherry on top.

It’s a bit of a walk to town but we were well aware and the location along the beach is nice. Ceiling only in the room means it could get hot in the peak of the summer but once again we were well aware.

Sea view rooms are beautiful, amazing view from the bed and balcony. Pool area is lovely as well everything clean and well kept, attentive staff. Food is amazing as well! A higher end feel for sure!
