One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in - the facilities are great, located right in the beachfront and near the city center, and the rooms are well-maintained. However, the best part of the hostel is definitely the vibe - amazing people and wonderful staff, special remarks to James who is definitely the best hostel manager I’ve found in any hostel I’ve been. Would definitely recommend staying at Lehani.

Everything about this place was amazing- beach-front location , great shared spaces kitchen, the owners are very lovely and helpful, best gem in Tofo right now.

The hostel is really well organized. great common spaces to keep food, both on shelves and refrigerated, nice kitchen and living room. James is really a great host, always available for advice and help. there's a timetable with all events both in the village and in the hostel: one night we had dinner all together and was really fun. wonderful place, quite, on the beach and near (10 mins) to the tofo market (that's good).... really a great stay.

The owners were so lovely, the location directly at the beach was amazing, the communal kitchen was one of the best ones in my whole trip. Everything in the hostel is really beautiful, can only recommend.

Pure paradise, I can only recommend this place. I visited Tofo for the 2nd time this year and I could not have been happier about my stay: comfortable room, great service (always with a smile), beautiful sun deck right on the beach and an amazing atmosphere. Hostess Ria went out of her way to give us the best possible time in Tofo. I had to work a couple of days during my stay and could do so with the best view of the beach. Already looking forward to my next visit!

The Lehani hostel is a true gem. Located on long sandy beach with an amazing terrace overlooking the ocean. The owners are super nice and helpful. The entire atmosphere of the hostel is 10/10.

Absolutely loved my stay! The location of the hostel directly at the beach is incredible and the center is still in walking distance. Great hostel vibes, everyone was super friendly and I loved the group activities! Would highly recommend to anyone who passes by Tofo, wish I could have stayed longer!

My stay at Lehani Hostel was unforgettable! The location right by Tofo Beach was amazing, with stunning ocean views and easy access to the sand. The hostel had a welcoming, social atmosphere, making it easy to meet other travelers. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help. The rooms were very comfortable, offering a cozy retreat after a day of adventure. The highlight for me was the chance to try surfing and to easily blend with the local community – the instructors were fantastic, and I had a blast! The laid-back vibe of the place allowed me to truly relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, meet people, and enjoy beach life, Lehani Hostel is the perfect spot!

It's hard to come up with anything that could have been missing during my stay at Lehani's. To be fair, if I had any expectations, those were wildly overthrown. To summarise: - The location is a dream. Waking up to the sound of the waves in the background, then having first-row sea-view breakfast or a yoga session on the wooden balcony. - A fully-equipped kitchen to do your own thing. Fridge, freezer, pots, pans, coffee machine - everything's there. There's even free filtered water. - I stayed in the dorm, which had very comfortable mattresses, no-hole mosquito nets and hot showers. - Wifi all over the place, including the balcony, strong enough to be able to work comfortably, even watch YT videos in HD. - Just a super relaxed vibe in general and the friendliest hostel owner, Ria, who's there with a smile if you have any questions, need some information or just wanna chat. I've stayed in more than 100 hostels. Lehani features my top 5. I think that says it all :).

There are a lot of positives at Lehani's - The location is awesome and right on the beach with great views, the rooms are spacious and large and the pool area is nice. The owner Ria was very helpful when my date had to be adjusted due to LAM Airlines cancelling my flight and rescheduling to next day without penalty. They also have everything possible for a good stay including a fast internet, refrigerators and containers to store food and drinks in common areas. Cooking facilities for those inclined to cook their own meals are available for all sorts of cooking from utensils to barbecue. It could be an amazing destination but for some shortcomings.

The service aspect was very poor, the AC in my room was not working and despite several requests it was not repaired till I checked out, which made the nights not very comfortable since you had to close all windows due to mosquitos and sleep in a mosquito net, i did get an extra pedestal fan in the room but on a hot day. I had given my clothes to be washed and laundered but was informed the next day that's not possible due to some issues and it was after chasing a couple of times that the unwashed clothes were finally returned to me an hour before check-out. There is no generator in the property, on the day I landed there was a long power cut in Tofo till almost midnight during which time, you cannot take a bath in your room or even flush your toilet during a power cut, which is strange to me. On another day, the power cut off suddenly when I was in the shower and I was stuck since the water abruptly stopped halfway through, luckily this was a short power cut and it resumed in a few minutes. There is no catering in the hostel, so unless you plan to cook yourself, you will need to step out for every meal which thankfully just a ten minute walk away. Overall, I was uncomfortable enough to leave a day before schedule.

Good location. Nice view Lovely staff WI FI was very nice lovely pool The open kitchen it was breathtaking We made friends from USA and Portugal and we did have a dinner together
