Only two things, the water pressure in the shower, please can you sort this out. There is a motor bike service shop 50m down the road, they need to be more considerate to the business around them.

The Hotel is central to all main areas, the hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. I really enjoyed staying at Oryx. The little cafe next door makes it a good meeting point for potential business meetings and the coffee is great.

The Oryx Butique hotel is a true gem in Maputo. I had an excellent stay. The room was modern, spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff was very polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is just in the center of Maputo. Very safe and cozy.

Oryx felt like home during my stay in Maputo. I had left the hotel for another only to return. The staff was beyond helpful. They arranged transport and always greeted me by name. My friend commented on how everyone knew me there and I had only stayed 2 seperated nights. I wouldn't think twice about booking again. The rooms are not only pristine in terms of cleanliness they are comfortable to boot. It was hard to get out of bed every morning, but I had a city to explore.

It says here that they have a restaurant, but that is just a mini cafe with very limited options. I wasn't really planning on travelling, but I ended up having to, for food. I did, however used that time very well to take a tjopela(sp) to find food and enjoyed the ride that mini car

Everything about my stay was amazing. Deise is a gem. She will go above and beyond to help. She will call to communicate any and everything about the outside state, since the country was doing post elections manifestation. She will continuously make a reminder about transport to the airport. She even wanted to bring me food on her way to work the following day because I was disappointed in their "restaurant". While the staff were overall amazing which is a serious necessity for me, she just went over and beyond

An absolute haven of tranquility amid the hub bub of a Maputo central suburb. A very friendly and helpful door man and Daisy was an absolute star. Helping me with multiple last minute things - printing a few pages of a document I urgently needed, providing me with advice on where to shop after my luggage didn’t arrive.

Having a kitchen, it would be great if dish soap or supplies could be provided (e.g. salt). Not a big deal, I bought myself, but you just need a certain amount for a few days and it could be then optimized if provided by the strucure.

The staff is very nice, the structure is new and well located, near some grocery shops too. The studio was comfortable. I had a minor issue with hot water and the staff was active to sort it out. 24h reception is very convenient if you have late check ins/early check outs.

The room was clean and quiet, and I felt very secure. The staff was super friendly and helpful, always readily on hand to assist. They were great to arrange affordable and dependable airport transfer. A restaurant is conveniently accessible from the hotel. The cathedral, iron house, and fort were all within a 30-45 minute walk.

I found the checkout time of 10:00 AM to be quite early. This early checkout time made it difficult to enjoy a relaxed morning and adequately prepare for departure.

Stayed in the Deluxe King Studio. The hotel room was comfortable, clean and of a 5 star quality.The service is the best I've experienced in Mozambique. The staff and management are friendly and always willing to help and offer advice and information. They really took the time to make my stay pleasant and comfortable. I will definitely be back.
