Good location with views of surrounding mountains. Great pool and bar at campsite. Self catering tents just ok. Not quite as advertised- had to ask for fridge and kitchen utensils. Staff very good and helpful though. They had no record of booking but that was not their fault.

Tents could be better. Drain blocked.

Stunning location. Very professional and cheerful staff. Breakfast was good.

It was a very small tent, with no mosquito nets. There was no fridge, yet it's a "self-catering" unit. They charge for using the WiFi at the main lodge (we stayed one month in Namibia, at many camps/lodges, and this was the only one to charge for WiFi). Worst of all, there was no hot water in the shower (the small electric device that's meant to heat the water is not large or strong enough to heat water for the shower -- only for the sink.) Paying over US$100 per night to sleep in a tent and then have to take a very cold shower is unreasonable. There are ten "self-catering tent sites" spread over a large area, and inexplicably, they placed the only other couple staying that night, in the tent directly next to ours. And they arrived well after dark. They should have at the very least left an empty site or two between us. Instead of some privacy, we each had to listen to the other, when the entire property was otherwise completely empty. This accommodation is very overpriced for the conditions provided.

We loved absolutely everything about Khowarib Lodge. The setting was beautiful, the staff were wonderful. The shower was cold but that's fine because it was hot and I'm not fussed. I'll be back again next year with more friends and looking forward to playing chess with Franz! There was Internet, swimming pool, waterfalls, animals, I could go on! Just wonderful. Thank you to Johanna, Franz, Philimone, Rachel, and Richard! See you next year!

    Nothing.

Nothing in particular. The local staff were amazing, not the Manager

I kept receiving mails that my cards (I offered two different ones) would go through. They then wanted a bank transfer that I refused to do, and they sent me a link to pay that did not work. I sent them a mail saying I was happy to cancel my booking and book somewhere else, to which they replied I could pay when I was there. But I kept being flooded and bullied with mails requesting payment. Upon our arrival, the Manager was not nice at all, he said we had no booking, and after 7 hours driving, it was a shock. I showed the booking on my phone and he said that booking.com did not make the reservation with them (after all the mails they sent me!!!) Anyhow, he made us understand that he'd find us a place to stay (place was practically empty) and gave us what we had booked. We paid in full ad requested by them at the end of our two night stay I have mowbren inform by booking.com that they are claiming my card hasn't gone through and want to charge me again AVOID GOING THERE

Nice and quiet place. Meals were very good, also was the service. The staff was always friendly and helpful. As a special service the cook did take care that we got our car filled up at the gas station (because you never can be sure they have gas and are open!

They had to move us to another room because electricity was not working in the booked room. The staff did what they could - thanks to that.

For the prize you pay you would at least expect free wifi and aircon in the rooms.

The nature walk-hike was wonderful. The guide ( Mr Ureera ) is very knowledgable ( plants @ birds ). The walk was about 8 km and took 3.5 hours. As we only could start 8.15 it was a bit hot at the end ( more than 30 degree).

This is a very expensive lodge and one expects good service as e.g pool tools at pool, someone bringing coffee to the table or leaving a pot of coffee there, etc . Just leaving 2 tea bags in the room, no milk etc - service poor compared to most other lodges in the region .
