Own bathroom in the campsite, very quiet. Beautiful spot with a great restaurant and poolbar. We did the AM drive and saw a lot of animals.

On our 3 week trip thru Namibia we did only a handful of camping nights in our roof top tent, as we prefer to have a bit more luxury in our middle ages... Palmwag campsite was one of the best ones and an excellent choice if you are looking for a safe and well equipped camping site in Damaraland

The toilet and the shower are in the same room, it makes sense to separate these if at all possible.

We camped and had our own ablutions with a power point. The place was clean and there was a table which made our stay easier. the service of the Workshop was great to replace one of the vehicles tyres and the reception and curio shop was decently priced.

Very good campsite, nice lodge, and restaurant, very nice shower facilities. But comparing to other places the space at the campsites is rather limited, no privacy.

The views, the clean camp space with private toilet and shower facility as well as a CV overed concrete area with picnic table and bench. Sites are well spaced. The shower was hot and strong, magnificent. The restaurant served an excellent meal as we were feeling too lazy to cook over the braai. Gondwana collection facilities always hit the mark for me.

This isn't related to the accommodation and it's not a complaint — but if you're staying at the campsite just for the night and continuing your journey to Etosha the next day, be aware of what you're carrying. You’ll pass through a veterinary checkpoint before the campsite, and on the way back, you won’t be allowed to bring meat with you.

We had rented a campsite. There is a small cabin available with a spacious bathroom and toilet. Outside, there is simple seating and a portable grill. The campsites are quite far apart, so you have plenty of privacy. The lodge offers access to a restaurant and a pool, both of which are very good — though the water in the pool was quite cold.

As with most of Namibia, it was a long bumpy road to get there.

Great campsite with each site having its own private bathroom/shower building and an outdoor sink/cooking area and table. We were able to join the rhino tracking tour offered by the lodge and the swimming pools and snack bar area was very nice.

There is animal disease control just before arriving at the campsite. They forbit you to pass any raw meat if you leave the campsite the same way. Which you probably do. So if you have a full fridge, when you leave and pass the gate the oposite direction they will take all the meat from your fridge.

Amazing place in the north. Perfect stop going from the skeleton coast to etosha. The bar , the dinner area. It's a really relaxing place. We stayed in a campsite. We had our own bathroom and a big picnic bench. There is also a tyre repair shop which was super helpful for us. The drive from here to etosha was epic.

The campsite is very clean and the facilities that come with your site are great. Nice that there is a pool too. The road coming from Kamanjab is quite long and tedious. Unfortunately the WiFi wasn’t working during our stay. Elephants haven’t been seen at the camp since Dec ‘24- just a heads up, as we were really hoping to see them there.
