The bed mattress was way too hard for my taste and there was no place to set my suitcase on, such as a luggage rack or suitcase stand. The built-in clothes rack was very tiny, even though there was enough space in the room for a stand alone wardrobe. They only provided 4 clothes hangers, but then again it was a tiny place to hang your clothes, so I am not sure more would fit.

The room was neat, clean, bright, and modern. Generally the room was quiet, even though it faced the street. The internet was sufficiently fast and consistent. Security was adequate and the staff were polite and super-responsive.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Our stay was not planned, and we didn't know the country or local language. They let us into our room early and were very helpful calling taxi's for us. The staff always smiled and greeted us which made us feel welcome. My son enjoyed visiting Aquarium Des Lagons.

The bed could have been more comfortable, but was what you pay for in a budget hotel.

Basic city hotel, however we had the place on the top floor and it looked over Noumea which was amazing. It was a beautiful way to start the holiday with a balcony! The room had a little kitchenette and a divider between the bed area and the bathroom area. The staff were really lovely, and so were the other guests we came across. Hotel was very central.

The bed wasn’t super comfortable and there was only one pillow per person. It was a bit noisy some nights from other guests. The locations isn’t so great if wanting to go to the beaches.

The staff were lovely and really helpful. The location is good for an airport pick up/drop off or if getting a ferry from Port Moselle. The breakfast was very filling!

Hotel Gondwana is a great option if you want to stay in town as opposed to a resort. We were going to resorts later so wanted to be in the heart of things, close to the markets etc and it delivers on that. The room is small but well appointed and it met our expectations considering the price.

The aircon sort of worked in our room 115. We figure maybe because it was at the end of the line and the fan in the shower is on all the time which probably takes all the cool air out of the room so the aircon could not keep up.

The air conditioner wasn't strong enough for the size of the room.

Staff was wonderful, the suite 636 was comfortable, clean with a nice balcony with city and ocean views. The breakfast was healthy and more than we could possibly eat. The concierge service was amazing! The location was good, only 8-12 mins walk to the markets, city touristic places, good restaurants close by, and 8 mins drive to the most popular beaches. I will definitely consider to go back to this hotel.

The location was central. For one person, the room was fairly big. If you arrived early, the hotel does not offer you a room until checking time. Not sure if I got the room that I did reserved. I noticed that if you do your reservation with Booking.com -at any hotels- they always give you the first o second floor rooms, never in the upper floors.

Parking is limited. It was not a problem as on the weekends stress street parking was available and for free.
