Great location tucked away from the main activity centre. Located on a no through road so it was quiet and peaceful. Would recommend having a car, but it's not too long a walk down to Lemon Bay. Owner and family are charming and were very kind to us, especially speaking English for us Aussies.

Bring some repellent for the mosquitos.

The location was convenient to catch the bus and supermarket . The washing area was good to dry clothes.

The studio was very smelly. Had cobwebs and small cockroaches which went in the fridge. The linen and towels were very smelly. Did not have a clean and fresh smell. Had to wash before using it. Needs a good clean up to kitchen. Had red stains in carpet and couch. The couch covers needs to be washed as well.

Not much, to be honest. I booked this due to other reviews, but I should have done more of my own research. The sea view was good. Cute enclosed garden to have breakfast or a cocktail.

There is a big difference between rustic and rundown. The fridge was so dirty and there was black on the ceiling of the bathroom. The smell was old musty. I feel it could do with a bit of renovation. I have never felt the need to give a negative review. However, I feel if you have an expectation based on other reviews, you may be disappointed. The house is also up a really long hill so you need to be fit to be walking up and down if you don't have a car, and it won't be a quick trip to the beach.

Spotlessly clean. Excellent value. Everything one needs to self-cater in an expensive city. Private, covered courtyard which was really came into its own with the alternating thunderstorms and hot sunshine.

Quite dated. Small kitchen. A hike up the hill if you don't have a car (but excellent exercise). Loose/ wobbly door slider handle finally fell off door, to courtyard, when trying to close the door during a violent thunderstorm on the last night.

Awesome hosts, we arrived in a taxi with no cash and only realised too late. The owner borrowed us money to pay the taxi which we then paid back when we paid for the stay. When we left the hosts dropped us to the port so we could get a ferry to our next location. Kitchen was fully equipped with big fridge meaning you could make your own meals. The garden was awesome, but it gets too hot during the day so ideal for breakfast only.

Aircon could have been newer and cleaner, but still worked well. There is quite a big hill that goes up to the property, if you don't have a car be prepared to walk 5-10 mins uphill each time you return home. Bed pillows were old and worn.

Good location, excellent host and generally very pleasant environment. Convenient shopping, petrol and ATM

As an English speaking and driving guest I found the property difficult to locate. Arriving in the evening the road signs are almost impossible to read. Coming from the North turn left at the Casino Shopping Centre is an obvious guide. Note that The Rue Louis Catalan takes a sharp turn to the right at the top of the hill.
