The location was ideal. We could easily walk into the downtown area and to the Botanical Gardens but it was quiet. There were large grounds with in season fruits available to be picked.AT thetime we visited (March), most fruits were not quite ripe, but the cherry guavas were plentiful and delicious

The lounge suite was quite uncomfortable and very low to the ground for us in our senior years. Our internet connection was very hit and miss as we were in unit 1 away from the main house.

I liked that it was quiet and only a few minutes drive to town. It's rustic and in the process of renovating. The unit is well equipped if you wanted to cook.

It was a comfortable walk into the CBD. Location was quiet and surrounded by nature. Hosts were friendly and helpful, even meeting us at the airport.

No Tour on offer, limited Wi-Fi - not that I disliked these things it just was what it was. Some facilities needs fixing which the new Owners are getting around too.

Very happy. New Owners Ruth & Beresford were very friendly & welcoming. They lived above my unit. Grounds were nice, unit very spacious & comfortable. Bit cold to swim or use outside BBQ.

A bit disappointing as the website pictures do not depict how it actually is. It appears the owners are doing a few renovations and we were not able to use the bbq pool area or the tennis court. It looked like it hadn’t been used for a long time. We had to wipe cobwebs off the outdoor furniture and sweep the verandah clean. Once we opened up the apartment and aired it our stay was quite comfortable. Although the host was very friendly we never saw him for the duration of our stay after we checked in (7 days) and our towels were not changed after 4 days as it said in the guest book.

The location was great and the surroundings were peaceful.

The property requested pre-payment before arrival, I know why because you would not have stayed here otherwise. Besides the smell of mould, the cockroaches on the walls and floors, the beds you cant lay on.... list goes on, we stayed one night as we arrived late and booked in at another location for the remaining two nights. It would have ruined our holiday otherwise.

Booked this site February 2023 & arrived there in May. 1)Distance from Burnt Pine centre was stated as 400 metres. Tripmetre on Hire car read 1 kilometre. 2)Owner turned off Wifi. Accomodation fact sheet gives wifi name/password when used “wifi not connected” 4 ) Dirty shower area. 5) unable to lock sliding door . Lock broken. 6)Flyscreen door fell off hinges when attempts were made to close it. 7) Live cockroaches found in kitchen 8) small insects found at night in bed 9) unable to close windows due to fly screens fitted to inside of window . 10) Very noisy when workmen arrived 7.15 am & 8.15 to start renovations. 11) proprieter wouldn’t take credit card payment stated”I’d have to turn Wifi on”
