Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

AC needs checking, intercom should be fixed and please used a channels provided with multiple channels
Courteous staff, great facilities and quite neat rooms and environment. Very spacious rooms and comfortable beds

The apartment did not have any of the amenities that were advertised. No garden view, no sitting area, 3 channels on the TV. There was a bed no place to eat except on the bed, the wardrobe was very small for two people, the only drawers were in the night stands. It was advertised as handicap friendly….. the first step going up to the landing to go into the apartment was so high there is no way a handicap person without help, I know because I have problem on the left side of my body, could make it up or down without as assistance! The kitchen did not include anything to cook with, not even plates of eating utensils; you had to ask for them. The worse thing was there were roaches; not a few many. They did come an spray the apartment 3 times but it didn’t eliminate the problem, so I can say it didn’t make you feel as if you wanted to cook in there, that is right I rented an apartment with a kitchen so I didn’t have to go out for food all the time. I had a wonderful young lady that came everyday to clean. She was very concerned about my well being and did an excellent job! Maybe for a couple of days it would be fine but not for an extended stay!
The Staff were very nice and tried to be very helpful.

Everything about the place is a sham
The bathroom drape has moulds and I was charged extra 1600 aside the 17900 on the website. The receptionist was rude I had to hurriedly leave cos the receptionist kept banging on the door while I was in the rest room

When I got there. I was made to pay an additional 3k after paying 18k, which I was told to pay to reserve a booking. The door handle was bad and I stood almost 30 minutes to get someone to open the door. The bed furniture was bad

The food is a bit pricey. It was delicious, no doubt, and I ordered multiple times, but it felt like each portion kept getting smaller upon subsequent orders. I did bring this to their attention, though, and the upon next order I made, I got a reasonably sized portion.
Location is not bad. If it's your first time in Abuja you may be a little disappointed, but I was returning to Abuja after a few years away so I was pleasantly surprised to see that an attempt had been made at least to make certain parts of the area motorable and accessible. Food is deliciously made, only a little pricey. There's reasonable peace and quiet, and the staff are super helpful, from the gateman, to the front-desk, to the manager, all pleasant folks. Rooms are not bad either, the cleaners make the effort to clean every day and change sheets. So for the price, I would say you're getting a good deal. Would definitely book a stay here again.

The location is a bit far from town, and the road is bad. There was no intercom in my room, and the AC wasn't powering quite well.
Nice food, quiet location, big room, decent place overall and good value for money.
