Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesThough the room upgrades are good, there ought to be a Quality Assurance insoection to catch little things that may have been overlooked by construction workers. You can't just assume because these are new rooms, everything would work as expected. For instance, a/c control was not working (couldn't be turned off or changes made to temperature). Electrician sent couldn't fix the issue and we had ot be moved to another room. In the new room, we found that the shower head in the ceiling directed water up to the ceiling instead of downwards. A number of loose fittngs in the room (knobs and cabinet hardware broken) while some switches didn't work. These are things that could be caught in a punch list by the room upgrade project manager. I am not changing my rating because of this but it is essential management is aware and takes action.
The staff (Joy) and customer service was very good. They are all delightful and sought customer's feedback on how they can improve on their services. I like the room upgrades that are currently ongoing and worth it to include all hotel rooms.

HungaryI stayed at old/not yet renovated rooms, frankly, the way the bathroom or the balcony looked was on a 2-3 star hotel's level.
Great location for my trip, nice view, very helpful and polite staff. The gym and the pool was also fine, and the money exchange was convenient on the premise.
