I stayed in one of the bungalows and overall had a pleasant experience. The room was a good size, and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious, with plenty of room for my things. Everything was clean and well-maintained. I appreciated that breakfast was included—it had a decent variety—and I received a 10% discount for lunch or dinner, which was a nice touch. The lobster burger was definitely a highlight! The A/C worked well, and there was also a ceiling fan for extra comfort. I really enjoyed relaxing on the porch with its hammock and sitting area. Best of all, it's located right across from the beach but still quiet and peaceful despite being surrounded by other buildings.

That said, there were a few downsides. As a digital nomad, the Wi-Fi was extremely frustrating—nearly unusable for work. The layout of the property includes odd steps and sloped walkways; I tripped or slipped nearly every day, so be cautious. While the lobster burger was great, the fried lobster I had for dinner was overly salty and the salad was soggy. Also, my shower didn’t have hot water, which was disappointing given how sensitive I am to cold showers.

Well maintained, lovely gardens, ha.mocks and swing chairs. TV actually had english channels. Host a very nice dutch gentleman. Right accross street from beach and a ship wreck u can snorkel to. Would definitely return here. Def order the lobster burger and a $5 cocktail.

Wasnt clear to me I had to show restaurant my check in voucher to receive the 10percent discount on food in their restaurant and staff there didnt ask for it so my food billl was more than expected. Only mention it cause it was my last night and I was then short of cash and struggled to pay all the bill. I had bought a small painting off homeless guy using up the rest before checking g out! My mistake!

    - Good location on beach and lovely setting around the rooms with palm trees, hammocks etc. - Very good beach bar for drinks and good reasonable food in the Buccaneer (get the kingfisher carpaccio) - Decent breakfast with help yourself coffee and waiters were nice.

    - Having to pay for water refills, even a glass of water with dinner or to refill a water bottle at the bar is ridiculous to be honest (been to many other cheap hostels around Nicaragua and drinking water is always free) Even one of the staff said they thought it was ridiculous - Extras are overpriced and better options can be found around the island. E.g. Bikes are $12 a day but had to return them as they were so low quality. Go to Franky Bikes round the corner for the same price and much better quality. - Shower wasn’t hot most of the time - TV didn’t have great signal so some channels didn’t work. It did have streaming services but the wifi wouldn’t connect. - Few lizards/ants in the room but maybe to be expected

The lady managing and staff were excellent help, and took care of us well. The bed was comfortable and the ac was great. Hot water showers and breakfast included. The yogurt and fruit was decent . The bungalow we had first must have mold as we both felt it in our lungs, and the bungalow smelt like mold. We noticed the roof had damage so thinking there was mold in the roof. Didn't feel very healthy to be breathing in there . Quite a far walk in to town to get groceries. You can cab for cheap. The beach is right out front with great swimming! We noticed the price jumps around lot and isn't consistent from one day to the next. For the price it was okay, not exceptional due to the mold smell and how we felt after being in the room for a day.

The cabins are very beautifull located and constructed, all though i didn’t expect to share a patio with neighbours. It’s in the middle of a lot of nature, with lots of birds and other small wildlife. The rooms were clean and spacious. It was close to a private beach, and the staff were very friendly.

The breakfast options were very limited, and often not all options were available. The prices in the restaurant were also relatively high, which was not completely related to it’s quality. It was also not very clear why a beer would cost more at the beach bar, then in the hotel restaurant. In general, it’s pricing policy is not very transparent.

Close to beach. Quiet. Nice restaurant and also a beach bar. Good food. Very friendly helpful staff

The bed had a ledge along one side, making it awkward to get in and out of. There is only one outside chair to sit on the veranda. No drinking water in the room Cats used the sand in the restaurant's outdoor seating as a litter box. I had to advise a mother not to let her child play as he was digging where a cat had taken a shit that morning. No beach towels

As the title suggests, its a paradise! Place is amazing!! Giving Maldives vibes all over witj the villas. Receptionists are super nice, and the lonster burger is legendary!

Some ( not all!)of the staff from the restaurant seem to have a bit too much attitude… or just very bored by their jobs.. a smile never hurts!

Location. Beach. Room* The staff were all nice

*No hot water. (A;though my friend had hot water in his.) It was warm enough, so I didn't complain None of the activities the hotel advertised was available The staff wasn't very knowledgeable about the listed activities and local features. All these problems indicate an ownership that doesn't care much
