There was no breakfast, but we were aware of that prior to booking. It was a self-contained apartment. Central to the Museum District. Easy to get around.

Location was amazing - very central & all walkable. Great coffee machine & greatly appreciated the wine on arrival.

A hand rail to get up/down the narrow stairs. Height of the bath to get in/out of TV on a low unit - maybe mounted on a wall for easier viewing Provided hotplates but no cookware to have ability to use. Perhaps provide a hand towel for bathroom & additional tea towel

Close to everything. 30 minute walk or less by tram/metro/train to Central, Rijks, anywhere "center city". Clean apartment with everything a couple needs. Close to Albert Heijne store to buy groceries.

Location was exceptional, Lovely bench over looking the Amstel river right at your door step! Host was Absolutely brilliant and gave us an extensive guide on the local area. Apartment had anything you could think of needing as well as a bottle of wine left for us in the fridge! Will definitely be booking again when we return to Amsterdam!

The stairs are rather steep. Carting a suitcase up and down was not easy, thankfully there’s only a few.

The location is amazing, 5 mins walk to Rembrandtpl or Waterloopl, metro, tram, supermarkets and bars, cafes and shops on the streets nearby. Facing the Amstel, the apartment is located in an island of tranquility overlooking the hussle and bussle of the city. You are in the heart of the city but away but away from the crazyness, you can take a coffee to the bench and watch the city wake in the morning. You can walk almost everywhere in the city centre in 20-30 mins. The apartment is perfectly sized, spacious for this city, with quality furnishings and all the amenities you will need for week's stay. the bed is comfy, plenty of space to unpack your things and a small kitchenette to prepare meals. There isn't a stove due to fire regs, but I was still able to eat many meals in the apartment. Tastefully designed with a view into the river. The apartment is impeccably clean and organised, it makes staying here really easy. The host, Guido, was professional, friendly and flexible in his communication, you can feel the pride he has in his apartment and his joy in enabling visitors to experiance a slice of it. Guido lives upstairs and was available to welcome me and to say goodbye, we had a great chat and he was meticulous in explaining how to get the best out of my stay. Otherwise I didn't see Guido, so I still had my privacy and independence. I consider myself lucky to have found this place and to have stayed there. I have stayed in many hotels and apartments in Amsterdam, and I would definitely stay here again if it was available. If it is available for your dates, I advise you to book it before it goes.

I bought a 5 days travel pass, but the location is so good I hardly used it. Sad to leave

A house designed to touch the human soul at every point, like the city of Amsterdam.. I will never forget the view of the canal from the charming bench in front of the house as long as I live. Thank you Guido!!

The location was superb, walking distance to everything. The apartment was clean and perfectly suited all our needs. The host, Guido was so thoughtful and kind providing recommedations. This exceeded all our expectations. We highly recommend.

The steps to the apartment is a bit difficult for older visitors. Has to be v careful or you might bump your head.

The location was really good and Guido the owner was lovely. Being right on the canal was a bonus too

The location was absolutely perfect and within walking distance of most attractions.

Not being used to it being light until 11pm a block out curtain on the door would’ve been useful for a good sleep.

Our stay was fantastic. The location is perfect! Appreciate the ample coffee and tea. I recommend this place above others & regret not booking here for my whole stay.

The apartment is in a very beautiful part of Amsterdam, right where the river and canal meet, and in easy walking distance to everything. It is a very nice, clean, well set-up apartment. The owner, Guido is very helpful and has thought of everything. Would highly recommend staying there.

We liked everything! The place is so clean and has everything that could be needed: from a hairdryer to a selection of teas and a coffee machine. Thanks to Guido for being such an amazing host! Highly recommended.

The flat is very well located, in a quiet area but close to the centre (2 minutes' walk). It's on the edge of the canal and the view from the street is great. Guido is very friendly and welcomes you in person (or someone he knows).

Lovely quiet location and total privacy, great amenities, and Guido was a wonderful host.

Lovely little apartment on a quieter street while being a short walk away from quite literally everything. We loved enjoying our morning coffee on the bench out front and watching the boats go by. The service from Guido can not go unsaid, incredibly welcoming; his personal touch is becoming a lost art in this modern world.

The location was suberb and the facilities exceeded our expectations. The host was caring and made us feel as if we were at home. We just liked everyting about the accommodation!!
