Safety could be improved with bed rails on the upper bed, and having two toilets would be more convenient

One room was a little too small. The park is located almost 2 km from the nearest public transport which is considered outside of Amsterdam so we had to but tickets even tho we had bought day tickets for the city.

The chalet is large with a small garden and stuff, everything was good.

There is no air conditioning, so it might get a bit hot inside if you happen to be there during a heatwave (though it’s not very common).

Some earlier comments mentioned a required deposit, but this turned out not to be the case. It's a nice, quiet place, perfect for a bike trip to the center of Amsterdam.

It looks cheap, lonely, abandonned, the facilities for children are really not that great and I happy ournplans changed last minute and we didn’t bring our son.

We rented towels and sheets, but didn’t get a towel to dry dishes - that would have been helpful. There was also no dish rack for wet dishes. Also worth noting - there is no soap, washing up liquid, or things like salt and pepper etc in the cabin (we didn’t expect there to be, and it’s not a complaint, but just for reference in case people expect it).

We stayed here for 4 nights and used it as a base to explore Amsterdam. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the train station, with trains about every 15 minutes or so. The park itself is very spacious and each cabin has privacy with its own garden area surrounded by hedges. The cabin was lovely - lots of room inside, and nicely furnished. The facilities seemed good, although we didn’t use many of them - we did find that the pool was a bit too deep for our children, who can’t swim, but they enjoyed the baby pool anyway. The staff were very helpful and able to answer all our questions. There’s a small shop on site, which sells milk and a few other things.

For the money it was disappointing that you had to make up your own bed, pay extra for towels, no tea towel provided, no hand soap and very limited toilet paper, dishwashing tablets and dishwashing liquid. These are basics that should be included in self-contained accommodation. Also be aware there was no oven or toaster, only microwave and stove top.

The park was in a nice, quiet location (although under a flight path) and the facilities were what you would expect in a holiday park. I particularly liked the ease of use of the washing machines.

Ants in the accommodation. Maybe some sort of repellent would be helpful. They were going after the food. It didn't affect our enjoyment of staying here though.

25 min walk to nearest train station, which was nice on a sunny day, but shuttle would have been nice, dark road at night. Reception closed at 6pm.

The heater works with a motion detector, thus automatically shutting down while sleeping. In cold nights this is problematic.

Bring your own towels, tea towels, and linen as the extra cost for these (especially for 8) is quite exorbitant. Travelling from Australia, we couldn't take these things with us! The supply of bin liners and dishwasher tablets was miserly. We had to purchase more in the onsite shop. No soap for showers or hand washing. Location was fine for us as we had a car and could drive to the nearest station to get into Amsterdam, however, I think it's a bit inconvenient without a car.

We stayed in a four bedroom house. It suited us perfectly as we were 2 families of four. The photos of the property were accurate - spacious, beautifully furnished with an attractive, modern decor. Though it was freezing outside it was always warm and toasty inside. Parking on site and free wifi were pluses for us.

First of all, since November 11, my deposit for two apartments 800 euro has not been refunded. I call every day for the refund, and they say it has been refunded; however, when we ask for proof, we find that the money was transferred to another IBAN number, and we are still waiting for a solution.
