DenmarkThe doors were heavy, so it was a bit inconvenient to move in and out with all our bags. Also the breakfast was a bit pricey (40€) but yummy.
We had a room with view on the water, and we spent quite some time watching the boats come in and out of the harbor. It was a very nice view. The room itself was correct. We gathered a lot of info on what to see in this region from the reception. The place where the hotel is, is a super beautiful traditional and well maintained spot. Very cute!

United StatesOur room was 114, right over the cafe below. The noise from the cafe was very disturbing - as it did not quiet down until after 1am. The air conditioning blew right onto the 2 beds nearest the windows - which caused 2 of the 3 of us to develop a cough (but it was needed, otherwise way too warm in the room). The beds were too soft and the pillows too flat.
The location was very nice. Breakfast was nice as well. Staff was very friendly. It may be helpful to ask for a room in one of the nearby buildings - where it will likely be quieter.

FranceReceptionist doesn’t know how to welcome guests not a single smile or a greet and when we ask for something it took her ages to do. Breakfast was not as expected, when we arrived we found almost everything finished although it was still within the opening hours of the breakfast, no tables were clean, so We had to wait for someone to come and clean which wasn’t quick!
One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in Netherlands regarding the location and the cleanliness of the rooms. Beautiful view and very nice equipped rooms.

BrazilWe were helped by a guy named Ahmed during breakfast, and I just have to say—what amazing service! He was super friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. He saw my husband setting our stuff on a table and quickly offered us another one with more shade, which was much more comfortable. My husband’s juice didn’t look great, and before we even said anything, Ahmed offered to change it and brought a fresh one right away. Honestly, it was the best service we’ve had in a long time in the Netherlands and during our trip. To this hotel and Ahmed—thank you for the great service!

BelgiumThe breakfast was pricy at EUR 18.50. But, there are no alternatives within an easy walking distance from the hotel. The hotel is a bit far from the center of Huizen, though walkable if the weather is clement and you have time. The 15:00 check-in time is a bit late in the day - 13:00 is fairer. But, as you see, arriving less than an hour before 15:00, it was not enforced.
It is the only hotel in Huizen, so it is the default choice. However, the price was fair and room very comfortable with a nice bathroom. The staff was friendly and did not ask me to pay a 15 euro "penalty" for arriving at 14:05 rather than 15:00.
