The only issue we faced in the hotel was the noise from the corridor by other guests walking in front of our appartment (in front of our bedrooms indeed) especially in the early morning. The indications on the use of the swimming pool and the different activities taking place there could have been clearer. The internal access to the swimming pool via the shower directly is very dangerous (step behind the door to access the shower not indicated!)

The appart hotel is very well located in the woods in a quiet area. With bicycles, the centre of West-Terschelling is accessible in 5 minutes. The medium sized appartment was quite spacious, nicely furnished and clean. The balcony and the view from there was a real plus. The bicycle renting via the hotel was very easy with the bicycles available directly at the hotel. Staff from the hotel was very nice and helpful.

Shame that the restaurant was closing the kitchen already at 20h and had only chips to serve. Would be very nice to go for a drink and something nice,when the children were in bed.

Lots of space, nice homely feel. A shared game room with a pool table, table tennis, table soccer.. even a spa room, with a big sauna and big steam chamber and comfy lying beds. We rented a tandem, and could use their bikes for free to cycle to the bike shop where they had a tandem. Super sweet staff.

The only downside was the size of the master bedroom, quite a squeeze compared to the rest of the apartment but the bed was great so it didn’t really impact our stay.

The family apartment was perfect for our family of 5 and we really enjoyed our stay. The kids loved the kids room and the pool and we had a wonderful time exploring the island on our bikes.

Breakfast had a good selection of foods but it was not replenished regularly so there were long waits for items, especially water, juices and the warm cooked food. The breakfast room was not even particularly busy. Eventually I politely asked to be told it was coming. We gave up waiting in the end.

The 2-bedroom apartment was a great size, clean, and comfortable. Hotel staff were very pleasant.and helpful. Location was great, bike rental and return was easy and we had a great time exploring some of the island. After checkout the hotel keep your luggage and transport it down to the ferry for you to pick up there - fantastic idea

Appalling food in the restaurant. On a Friday and Saturday evening in a restaurant with some 40 tables, at most two were occupied. The meat was tough and old. The vegetables were burnt and the chips were soggy. We gave it another chance on the Saturday evening since it was pouring with rain and we didn’t want to get soaked going into town. It was BBQ night. Hardly anything can go wrong with a barbecue you might think. You would be wrong! Old meat on the spareribs, fatty chicken on a stick, the usual burnt vegetables and our old friend soggy chips. Surely the management can look at their weekend restaurant turnover and draw the conclusion that there is something very, very wrong in the kitchen!

The price was a bit higher than average for what you get. Furthermore the beds were a bit soft for our taste. But this is a matter of what you like.

The service was very good, the staff were very helpful and nothing was difficult. We had a last moment request and they helped us to the fullest. The appartement is very big and comfortable. The breakfast was good and enough choice was available.

Access to the swimming pool took some getting used to (claustrophobic locked shower lobby) and hours available to hotel guests unclear (everything written only in Dutch which is tricky for non-Dutch speakers).

The breakfast unfortunately has gone down hill since we last stayed 2 years ago. There used to be more options and better quality but it’s still okay:-)

Great room options for families with two bedroom in the apartments, large balconies and a kitchen - lounge area. Quiet, peaceful location but also lots to do for kids - play park, swimming pool and now a tree top climbing course and excellent playground with inflated slide just behind the hotel! Kids here are so happy:-)
